Nia Cooking Class in Seminyak

We were picked up from accommodation, taken to local food market away from the Warung to start the tour, we got to experience local fresh food being prepared and sold in a busy market, Had each fresh ingredient we were cooking with explained. Than taken back to Warung Nia for the class. Step by Step instructions and demonstrations before we were able to cook each dish. 9 dishes. which we enjoyed for lunch at the end of the class. photos were emailed to us, even a great short video. 100% Recommend. Not too spicy. Very considerate of allergies. Hot infused water includes. drinks available for purchase from the warung. toilet and handbasin facilities very nice.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Warong Dia. The cooking class was incredibly informative, from visiting the local market and learning about different Balinese ingredients to preparing a variety of authentic Balinese dishes. It was very hands-on, fun, and easy to follow, making it one of the highlights of our honeymoon. What made the experience even more memorable was the wonderful surprise the team prepared to celebrate our honeymoon. They performed a traditional Balinese music and dressed us in beautiful Balinese attire. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated the effort they made to make us feel so special. Thank you to everyone at Warong Dia for your warm hospitality and for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Bali! 🌺🇮🇩

One of the best days of my life! Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed Nias cooking class!! We had so much fun and learnt so much! Our Chef Tommy was hilarious especially his Peaky Blinders impression, we all laughed so much throughout the day!! I really like the recipe book that we get to take away with us as otherwise I would not of remembered all of the ingredients seeing as me made 12 dishes! Another nice touch was that throughout the day the staff took our phones to take pictures for us and took there own pictures which they sent to us afterwards free of charge! Would HIGHLY recommend Nias cooking class with Tommy!!

Amaizing family experience, I participated with my husband and my children. The Chef was very knowledgeable and very patient with my kids, always ensuring we were having a good time. The food was awesome and there were plenty of it which was great.

No regrets—absolutely none! We booked this activity to fill our itinerary on the second-to-last day in Bali, and WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE it turned out to be! Chef Tommy, our instructor, was fantastic—engaging, funny, and genuinely wholesome. We had so much fun learning how to prepare a variety of Balinese dishes. It’s not just a class; it’s a full culinary experience! The activity began with a convenient hotel pickup (depending on your location), followed by a local market tour where we got to learn about traditional ingredients. From there, we headed straight to the warung for the cooking class. The best part? At the end, we got to enjoy a delicious lunch featuring all the dishes we learned to prepare, prep, and cook ourselves. Totally worth it! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience. I got to try cooking many dishes, especially sambal. We visited the market to learn about the ingredients. The organization was good, and the group size wasn't too large. The food was delicious, and it was a worthwhile learning experience. The instructor was excellent and funny.

We booked this cooking class for my wife and I and our 21 year old Autistic son. We all had a fabulous day learning about the local cuisine. Then getting to prepare, cook and then eat the food. All staff were excellent and welcoming and made the whole experience 5 star for my family. We would recommend this to anyone interested in doing an Indonesian Cooking Class.

The chef Komang see everyone's ability and cooking level to guide and participate everyone as one team. all cooking sub-teachers are friendly and nice. we made many dishes and all food we cook were super delicious. friendly and harmonious environment to everyone to cook. greeting drink and dessert are good.cooking place is little hot. great experience!

An amazing experience to learn about Balinese cuisine and culture, the morning market was informative, the chef was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole cooking class, my 11 yrs old enjoyed as much as the adult, learnt plenty of dishes (from scratch) and we gonna keep the recipe book! Absolutely had the best time and also we got to enjoy the food we cook, totally worth every penny! Highly recommended to anyone who love cooking and enjoys a bit of fun/chat with others.

The operator of this activity or warung Nia team has been so welcoming and guiding even days before the actual activity. They will contact you via whatsapp and i was able to get photos from that day and they even sent a digital copy of the recipe. They have good follow through as well. This has been an amazing experience and we had fun in the group although we just met that day. We started our day in the market because chef Komang introduced us to main local ingredients we’ll be using in the cooking class. This was one of the activities I did that I enjoyed a lot and grateful I didn’t think twice booking. You don’t have to be a pro here. Beginners are very much welcomed and you get to enjoy the fruit of your day’s labor! 😁👩🏻‍🍳
