Reviews
Lucian was a great guide for Bulgaria! He shared valuable history and culture mixed with perfect humor that made our experience enjoyable. Wish we could have him wherever we go next!!
There were nine people in our group, including the tour guide and driver. In just one day, we were able to visit the Orthodox Church in Ruse, the rock monastery in Basarbovo and the castle in the small town of Veliko Tarnovo, and have a Bulgarian meal (at our own expense). It was quite fulfilling! The tour guide and driver is very dedicated and takes good care of everyone, highly recommended!
It was a very good tour. I was able to go to a different area of Bucharest, which was rich in nature, and it was very refreshing. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, and it was a very good tour. The return was late, but there was a hotel pick-up, so it was not a problem.
From Bucharest, you can go directly to Veliko Tarnovo for a day trip, which solves the transportation problem and is very smooth and convenient.
The guide was very interactive and has shared a lot of informations about the places we visited. He even brought us to a very nice place to have our lunch, and given us some recommendations. This is suitable for those who wants to explore beyond Bucharest but has limited time.
Amazing and well organised trip. LUCIAN our tour guide is a star! He is so passionate with what he does and he has an exceptionally natural sense of humour! If you want to book a trip to Bulgaria with high value for money, choose this!
