What to expect
The Discover Scuba Diving experience at the Submerged Archaeological Park of Baia is a beginner-friendly introduction to scuba diving in a unique historic setting. You’ll start with a brief theory session and basic safety briefing under the supervision of a PADI professional, then get familiar with your gear before entering the water. No prior diving certification is needed and participants must be at least 10 years old. The highlight is a guided shallow dive among the ancient Roman ruins — mosaics, statues and structures now preserved underwater due to volcanic bradyseism — where you’ll learn what it feels like to breathe and move underwater. Throughout the dive, your instructor stays close to support and ensure a safe, memorable first dive experience

- Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, a towel and some flip flops to walk to the boat
- You will be sent an email with instructions to redeem and complete the small e-learning
- You may need a medical certificate before the dive, based on your answers to a medical questionnaire
