What to expect
Begin your journey at 5:00 AM from Varanasi for a scenic 4–5 hour drive (200 km) to Ayodhya. On arrival around 9:00 AM, visit the sacred Ram Janmabhoomi, birthplace of Lord Rama, and explore its temples and rich heritage. Enjoy a traditional North Indian lunch at 12:00 PM, then head to Hanuman Garhi for panoramic city views. Continue to Kanak Bhawan to admire its intricate architecture and Ramayana-themed murals. Later, relax by the serene Saryu River Ghats, perhaps taking a boat ride. Depart Ayodhya by 5:00 PM to return comfortably to Varanasi by 10:00 PM.
