The Douro River offers various types of tours. If you're short on time and on a budget, you can opt for this one-hour cruise. The boat does not provide explanations of the sights (bridges), so it's not considered a guided tour. For the meeting point, we followed the link to the second floor of the riverside shopping area, but it turned out to be the boat company's counter with the umbrella by the river. The scenery was beautiful and did not disappoint; it's still one of the activities you should plan when visiting Porto.
a bit of a waste of time. we did the sunset cruise which was a bit more expensive and kids are charged full price. didn't mind paying as we have done similar for example in Paris and Bangkok which were both amazing. This however was lacking anything special. save your money and time and spend it on the waterfront having a drink
