Lake Biwa, Shirahige Shrine, La Collina Omihachiman & Mangetsu-ji Ukimido One-Day Tour (Departing from Osaka/Kyoto)

Initially, I planned to use public transportation, but then I thought, given the weather, it would be best to take a car directly to our destination. Plus, just for Shirahige Shrine and Mangetsu-ji Temple, public transportation would likely take a whole day. By booking this tour, we also got to visit the Lake Biwa Terrace and La Collina, which was an amazing value! I also want to commend our handsome tour guide, Yujin, who took photos for us throughout the trip and helped us with any questions we had. 100 thumbs up! 👍

I was very fortunate to have Abu as my tour guide this time; he was truly exceptional. In addition to providing detailed explanations of the attractions along the way, he also shared a lot of Japanese culture and historical background, making the entire trip very enriching. He took great care of every group of guests, and even as a solo traveler like myself, I never felt overlooked, which was very reassuring. During the trip, a small incident occurred: a vending machine in a tourist area took my money when I tried to buy water. At the time, we were in a hurry to catch a cable car, so Abu quickly decided not to delay the itinerary and told me he would accompany me to the service center to handle it later. Due to the language barrier, when I explained my situation to the service staff, they didn't fully understand at first and asked for clarification multiple times. Fortunately, Abu was there to help translate and explain. Although the back-and-forth communication took some time, we eventually managed to get a refund. Not only is he a professional guide, but he also proactively assists and patiently handles unexpected situations for travelers, which I truly appreciate. I highly recommend Abu and hope to join another one of his tours in the future!

Our tour guide, Mr. Liao Yuming, was very kind and friendly. He took us to various places, proactively helped us take photos, and allowed ample time at each attraction. Thank you to our guide and driver for their hard work.

Our day trip along Lake Biwa was fantastic! Our first stop was the Shirahige Shrine's torii gate in the water, followed by a visit to Lake Biwa itself. We took a single-person cable car up the mountain to admire the magnificent scenery, which was truly beautiful. The Ukimido Temple and the Baumkuchen factory are also well worth a visit. The factory's roof is quite unique, blending seamlessly with nature, and the freshly baked Baumkuchen was delicious. We are very grateful to our guide, Hua Hua, for her detailed explanations. We were so happy to have such a wonderful guide! HUA HUA is the best tour guide!

I booked this late the night before, so it was a bit rushed, but the actual experience was excellent. The bus was perfect for a spread-out itinerary in hot weather. The attractions offered both natural beauty and cultural significance, making the trip well worth it.

It was a very pleasant day trip. Lake Biwa is beautiful, and the weather was partly cloudy, partly sunny, and much cooler than Osaka. The bus transfer was very convenient. Our tour leader, Sister Lai, was very kind and friendly, and she introduced us to the scenic features of our destination and the local customs of Japan. I hope to meet Klook and Sister Lai again in the future.

I was fortunate to join a one-day tour led by tour guide Hua Hua this time. Although the weather was unfortunately bad, Lake Biwa looked truly like an ink wash painting on an overcast day. Thank you to our guide for your professional leadership, which allowed us to have a pleasant day!

The time spent at each attraction was just right. Although the weather was hot, Tour Guide Lai still explained everything diligently and led everyone through the tour. The Pipa Lake observation deck is definitely worth a visit.

My travel experience was excellent. Our tour guide, Batu, was very responsible and provided great emotional support, even sharing general knowledge and recommending delicious food. The driver was also wonderful. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
