Reviews
Both tour guides were very dedicated and meticulously planned this trip, allowing for an in-depth exploration of Slovakia. I wouldn't recommend this tour for first-time visitors. The itinerary differs slightly from the one listed on Klook, and it's quite packed. We arrived back in Vienna at 2 AM the next day, and I was so exhausted on the return trip that I fell asleep instantly in the car! However, the content was enjoyable. There were a lot of mountain roads along the way, so remember to bring motion sickness medicine. The tour guides also provided welcome drinks, red wine, white wine, and grape juice for everyone to sample, and they took us to try authentic local cuisine. It was a wonderful day trip. The weather changed drastically from morning to night, so remember to bring a down jacket to avoid shivering at night!
Our guide and driver, Martin Ba, is very friendly and helpful. He is very responsive in WhatsApp and drive well. He explained the history of the spots to us and recommend nice restaurant for lunch. However, we are very unsatisfied with Klook customer service, there is no response for whole day for all the questions especially regrading to the contact of the organizer, luckily the organizer contacted us to confirm the pick up arrangements. The itinerary is also unrealistic, it is impossible to visit all the places listed for a day tour. Martin is very well done on showing us as many places as possible and we are very happy with him and the journey. The only disappointment is for Klook management.
The castles are amazing and Sasha was a great guide for our tour
The trip started at 6 a.m and we got home at 10:30 p.m so this is for those who are okay with the long journey. Pros: - you get to see different sides to Slovakia other than just the castles - it's a small group - lunch is in a traditional restaurant with local food - The scenery is beautiful, the guide did a good job of helping us see all the places despite the weather and time frame. Cons: - The guide did not offer much info about the country, a littl ebit at the castle but overall not much info. Other guided tours I have been on have the guides give participants a lot of information about the country and the sights.
the guide is great, PhD in diplomacy, and he was able to handle the situation seamlessly. however, the pick up and drop off arrangement was messy and scary. the itinerary was too rush and can be super tiring.
Maria was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our journey, always making sure our needs were met. Do note that the itinerary spans the entire day and involves quite a bit of walking, which can be tiring. That said, the trip was truly delightful, packed with sights and experiences that made every step worthwhile. Transfers between attractions took time and followed long, winding roads, which made the ride a bit bumpy at times. Still, this was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was an enjoyable trip filled with memorable moments, stunning views, and wonderful company. I’m grateful for the great friends we made along the way.
The description in the tour is misleading. there were no Bratislava stop at all. However the guide did her best, we had enough time in all other locations. We stayed at around 8 am till midnight. I don’t see why the advertise such a grandiose tour. it’s best if the company keeps it realistic. overall I loved Slovakia. it was well worth it
We had a great time. Our guide/driver, Michael took a scenic route and brought us to the best places of Slovakia. He also gave us a lot of information and was always cheerful despite the long trip.
Exploring the countryside of Slovakia was a great opportunity in getting to know it's culture and lifestyle. Had a great time with Maria and appreciate the hospitality!
The tour guide in Vienna was very dedicated and great. The only regret is that the meeting time you notified me was wrong. It was 7:00 in the morning instead of 8:00. The tour guide was very responsible and waited for 1:00, which caused the next guest to be picked up and delayed the entire trip. I hope you can pay attention to this aspect. At the same time, for the Como Lake trip on March 19, you notified the meeting time 1:00 earlier, which made us wait for a long time and afraid of missing the trip. I hope you can pay attention to the notification matters.
