  • Clothing: Dunhuang has high temperatures in the summer, reaching up to 95°F (35℃) during the day, so bring summer clothes such as short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and skirts. The temperature difference between day and night is large, so a thin windbreaker or long-sleeved jacket is essential. Sunscreen clothing and a sun hat (with a windproof cord) will help prevent sunburn.
  • Medications: We do not provide guests with oral medications, so please bring your usual medications, such as aspirin or acetaminophen for pain relief; cold/diarrhea medicine; anti-inflammatory/allergy medicine; and medicine for heatstroke/heat rash.
  • Skincare: Dunhuang has strong sunshine and high UV radiation. Be sure to bring SPF50+ sunscreen, moisturizing lotion, face cream, moisturizing spray, lip balm, and after-sun repair masks.
