The climate is pleasant in summer, and the alpine scenery is magnificent. ◆ Taisho Pond: Formed by the eruption of Mount Yake in 1915, the Hodaka mountain range is reflected on the surface of the lake, creating a dreamlike beauty. ◆ Kappa Bridge: A representative structure of Kamikochi, offering views of the natural scenery that changes with the weather. It is famous for Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s novel “Kappa.”

Hida Takayama Old Town A merchant town from the Edo period, the old street “Sanchō” retains lattice architecture and sake breweries, creating a rich historical atmosphere. Uemachi is lined with nostalgic candy stores, handicraft shops, and gourmet food stores; Shimomachi has mochi shops, antique stores, and stationery stores, and Japanese sake breweries showcase the local lifestyle.

Shirakawa-go Gassho Village A Japanese hidden village, famous for its Gassho-style architecture. It was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1995. The scenery is unique in all seasons, and the village is covered with heavy snow in winter, resembling a fairy-tale world and showcasing a simple rural landscape, earning it the reputation of “Japan’s Original Home.”

Kenrokuen Garden One of the three most famous gardens in Japan, a landscape garden with ponds and winding paths. The scenery changes in all seasons, and the snow-hanging scenery in winter is particularly distinctive. Famous spots in the garden include the Kotoji Lantern, Fountain, and Shiguretei House. It was designated as a National Scenic Spot in 1922 and is a representative attraction of Kanazawa.

Higashi Chaya District

The "Higashi Chaya District" retains a strong Kanazawa atmosphere, lined with traditional teahouse architecture. The elegant streetscape is perfect for taking photos. Simply strolling through it allows you to experience Kanazawa's unique history and culture, making it a popular tourist spot.
