The extra-charge bus from the cruise disembarkation point to the meeting place wasn't bad, and the accompanying guide on the bus was also good. However, due to the bus stop location marked on the map provided, we missed the bus and made the mistake of taking a train from Florence Central Station to Pisa Station, and then another city bus. The trip was tough, but I still recommend it.
Traveling from Livorno to Florence and Pisa seemed like it would be difficult due to the distance, so I'm glad I joined a tour. I highly recommend using this service if your cruise ship docks in Livorno.
this tour is so worth the money. the bus to and from the port and the walking tour are very informational. we wouldn’t have it in all locations on our own.
