Kaohsiung Departure: Kaohsiung Car Rental with Driver to Qijin/Love River/Liuhe & Ruifeng Night Market

Mr. Su is very friendly and chatty. He gave us a good lesson on history about the entire place while fetching us from places to places. He responds fast on WhatsApp so we need not wait more than 5min before he pick us up from each drop off point. He also helped to prepare a stool in short notice since we had elderly parents travelling with us who can’t really go up onto the high car. However, it will be nicer if the staff or driver can actively contact me way prior to the scheduled time since it kind of adds uncertainty until the day before the tour day. Thanks!

We received what's apps from Xiaoling Tour Guide the day before the trip and confirmed our reception location and time. She arrived at our hotel 10 minutes earlier than expected. After getting on the bus, we told Xiaoling that we wanted to make some changes to the previously chosen itinerary, and she was happy to help us plan it again, because we wanted to spend more time in Cijin, and we were at the Ruifeng Night Market the day before. We went there. The Liuhe Night Market was also near our hotel, so we didn’t go there. In the end, the itinerary was changed to go to the Dome of Light at Formosa Station, then to the Lotus Pond Dragon and Tiger Pagoda, then to Cijin to eat seafood, and then in Qijin Stroll around and take photos. The restaurant introduced by Xiaoling is very good. It is one of the locals' favorite seafood restaurants. It is really good, not expensive and very fresh. Before the end of the trip, she also took us to a famous local cake shop to buy some souvenirs, and then sent us back to the hotel. After we put the souvenirs back at the hotel, she gave us a Carrefour as a final stop.

Booked my tour a day before. The tour company confirmed reservation shortly after and in a morning let me know the guide name and sent picture of the car. My tour guide was Doris. She arrived on time, the car was a small Toyota SUV, nice and clean. We discussed the itinerary, I wanted to see Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, that was 500 NTD extra because of the distance. Born and raised in Kaohsiung, Doris was really knowledgeable about local history, culture and traditions. It was nice not only see local attractions but also hear stories behind it. I would highly recommend this tour and Doris to anyone.

Our driver, Ms Huang, is also our tour guide. She texted me the night before to inform me on the car number. She arrived on time. She will introduce to us on the history of those places. It was a wonderful trip with her to accommodate my old folks. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

The assigned driver will contact & share details the day before. He was nice to advise us on additional spots we can go during our customised trip, he even shared with the food & places we need to see at each destination. We get to visit Cijin island even though it wasn't in the plan but the driver told us that we have sufficient time for it. He also suggested & brought us to a nice local eatery for lunch.

Great, we were recieved by a friendly lady driver with a cosy private car and was brought to our desired sightseeing places like Fo Guang Shan (we have to pay extra NT500 as it was out of the way) Dragon and Tiger pagoda (was under renovation and did not managed to visit) but still we are happy to visit the nearby places, She also recommended the best place to see sunset at Sizihwan, though we have not enough time to wait for the sunset, we were very happy. And the driver even suggested where to drop us off so that we can go to our next designation easily. Thumbs up for her.

our driver, Doris, was really attentive to our needs. She even helped to source out for a Chinese physician as my back was hurting really bad. she’s knowledgeable and can speak English relatively well.

The driver, Mr. Xie, was very kind and patient. He went to Fengyi Academy too early in the morning (it only opened at 10:30). In the afternoon, Mr. Xie took us to Fengyi Academy again (thank you so much). Cherry took our old mother (who is older) If you can’t stand walking) and my brother, chartering a car is the most convenient option! Hotel → Fengyi Academy → Weiwuying National Concert Hall → Cijin → Martyrs’ Shrine → Fengyi Academy → High-speed Rail

pleasant experience with the driver. was looking forward to visit the tiger dragon pagoda but unfortunately it’s still under upgrading. the driver’s flexible and he even recommended local food in kaoshiung. he even brought us to adjacent places

Driver contacted me via WhatsApp the night before and was on time. A nice 9 seater van was great for our party of 5 pax. Driver followed my own customized itinerary and it’s definitely a god sent as my travelling group consisted of both elderly and children.
