Review for: One Way VIP Overnight Bus Ticket from Yangon to Mandalay

Convenient and cost-efficient way to travel from Yangon to Mandalay. Make sure to bring food or go there already full if you’re picky or not comfortable eating at food stalls that are exposed to dust. But if you’re interested in what locals eat, you will find it there.

Nice bus, the ride is smooth. Employees are kind and helpful but this is certainly not tailored for foreigners. Finding the right place in the station is difficult without a local.

Review for: One Way VIP Overnight Bus Ticket from Yangon to Mandalay

The bus was fine, but the roads were pretty bumpy so it's not easy to get any sleep. The bus was mainly for local people and there are other companies which have mainly tourists - the difference being that on the local bus they will force off for a toilet break in the middle of the night...Mandalay is well worth the journey however and there's so much to see and do there. The bus provided a nice snack.

The bus is very convenient, 3 stops at the rest area. The air conditioner works well

Seats were comfortable and the best ones I've ever taken! I enjoyed it very much. However, upon booking this, Klook listed 4 bus companies and stated that I will be informed of the bus provider before my trip. I was not informed of my bus provider but merely given a photo of my ticket and when I arrived at the Yangon Bus terminal, I had difficulties locating my bus provider. This is because my bus provider was not one of the 4 listed on the Klook page. It was also listed that an English-speaking personnel would be available, unfortunately I was not fortunate enough to meet any English-speaking personnel. In the end, my friends and I had to lug our heavy luggage around the entire open air, uneven ground terminal, going door to door to various bus providers to ask if our bus ticket was issued by their company. We finally found our bus provider and were thankful they provided seats for their customers. Emailed Klook and they took a month to confirm that my bus company (Shwe Mandalay) was indeed one of the offered companies but it clearly wasn't stated on their listing. All in all, unpleasant experience with locating the bus provider but the bus ride was good.
