Miss Hwa was incredibly nice and polite. She accommodated all our requests and even went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and happy throughout the day. The tour itself was amazing — everything was well-organized, and we had such a great time. Truly a wonderful experience!
all the way pick up from Hotel to places and until drop off our guide is very good and polite and knowledgeable around town thanks you for even the weather is heavy snowing he try his best to comfort us and thanks you Alan Yoo . Very Highly recommended for him
Our tour experience in Gyeongbokgung palace is great. The palace is very big and we took a lot of pictures. The hanbok dress is very good and lots of choices. Our tour guide Steven is very friendly and accommodating.
Gyeongbokgung Palace was really a stunning place to visit and especially if you’re from a city-centric country like Singapore, similar to myself, you will find this beautiful. Plus, you get to wear the traditional Hanbok outfits (and choose whether you want to be a commoner, scholar, emperor or empress dowager 🤣) together with the rest of your family/friends/partner! Definitely good to snap some cute memories and photos! 😄 The Painters is also another experience/performance which I would strongly recommend. Initially I did not know anything about them or what to expect from an art/dance-based performance group. However, once you watch the performance, you will realise that it is really enjoyable and you will be enticed by their silliness, charisma, art and dance skills as well. No other things to say but, please catch it! 🙏🏻 Bukchon Hanok Village to me was a pleasant experience but it was mainly just for the vibes and a nice view at the outer part of the area where you can look outwards to the city. Otherwise, if you are a coffee lover, you will surely love this place because there are MANY cafes in the area to try or hop around 😬 Overall, good tour, recommended 😊
It was snowing before and the day of our tour and the tour locations were extra pretty because they were covered in snow. We were a small group of 7 and our tour guide was Mr. Nanhai. We were conveniently picked up at Myeongdong station and we travelled around in a van. We were particularly thankful to Mr. Nanhai because of how well he managed our tour. We were at the tour locations conveniently before the places get crowded. Our first stop was at a Hanbok rental where we had many designs to chose from. Then we walked to the Gyeongbokgung Palace which was across the street. The palace was beautifully covered in snow and Mr. Nanhai offered to take a picture of each group in front of the palace. Even though we were wearing thermals and light jacket under our hanbok, it was still very cold so after taking some good pictures, we stayed in an area and just let our son play in the snow. After returning our hanbok, we passed thru the Blue House and went to a Hanok Village where we walked around the place. It was Monday and apparently most of the stores were closed but we still had fun walking around the village. Mr. Nanhai took us to a good place for picture-taking and he again offered to take our pictures. After the walking tour, we had chicken ginseng soup at one of the local restaurants. It wasn't crowded when we arrived and we got to enjoy the nice warm chicken soup. People were starting to fill in at the restaurant and the other restaurants in the area when we finished our lunch. The place had a narrow staircase and people had to line up just to get in. After lunch, we headed to a place where we got to experience making the kimbap and where we got to see how they harvest and process the seaweeds. Our last stop was the N Seoul Tower. Because there was a heavy snowfall the day of the tour and the previous day, the way to the N Seoul tower was very beautiful as the hill and the trees were covered in snow. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the area.
We really enjoyed wearing hanbok and roaming around the palace, it's fun to dress up sometimes. The love locks in N Seoul Tower is very instagrammable and brings a surreal feeling especially this one of filming locations of Asian dramas. The village is an actual residential area so silence must be observed during your visit.
4 places visited yesterday.. cold weather -3degree. a good experience to see korean old kingdom palace, custome, heritage house and delicious chicken broth lunch finished at 4.30pm myeongdong station and we straight can have a walk at night myeongdong street market. thumbs up.
Our tour guide/driver is the best. He arrived on time and gave clear instructions. We had enough time for each location and his driving was so smooth, I was able to take pictures. Highly recommended.
