An attraction well worth visiting. The Ledge (glass balcony): This is the biggest highlight of the Skydeck. Located on the 103rd floor, it features several fully transparent glass boxes extending 1.2 meters outward. Standing on them and looking down, you are suspended entirely in mid-air, offering an intensely thrilling visual experience and the best spot for taking stunning high-altitude photos of Chicago. The tallest observation deck in the United States: The Willis Tower is currently the third-tallest building in North America. On a clear day, visibility reaches up to 50 miles, allowing you to span the borders of four states at once (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan) and take in the magnificent views of Lake Michigan and the urban skyline.
skydeck was a very much great way to learn about chicago’s history with the museum before going up. then, the view up top was such a great experience as a first timer in chicago. would definitely recommend going here. plus all the staff was helpful
I bought tickets for 8PM and it was perfect because it was still slightly bright outside and we could see watch the sunset. It was pretty organized and not too crowded on a Thursday night.
Looking down at the entire city of Chicago from a 103-story skyscraper
It was a very good experience! It's memorable not only to get a panoramic view of the city of Chicago and see various landmarks from the sky, but also to be able to take photogenic pictures in the protruding glass-enclosed space. The guiding staff are also kind, so you can visit with peace of mind.
Going up over 100 floors to overlook the entire city of Chicago is truly breathtaking, but aside from that, the price is quite expensive. However, booking tickets through Klook in many cities is very convenient.
It is cheaper to book far in advance, but considering the weather of Chicago, you probably want to book last minute when you see the weather is good. It is a little bit overpriced though.
super smooth experience!! love the ledge experience
