Pleasant driver who spoke good English and turned up on time so what’s not to like!

Extremely unhappy with this private car charter. In total we only did one temple in the city when we got down, drove outside independence square and national museum. When I spoke to him to take us to Fort and Pettah as a next point, he drove us quite reluctantly. For everything, he kept on saying that its far. In the end, we asked him to take us to Noritake crockery store. We googled and showed him but think he wasnt keen on taking us. We were really upset with his behavior and left the car within 3 hours. The suggested itinerary has 10 items supposedly for 8 hours but we only did 1 where we got down. So we paid close to 6000 srilankar rupees for just visiting 1 place.

The driver kindly carried us around, but the body was slightly uncomfortable on the day and ended the trip back to the hotel.

I booked a Colombo Private Car Charter 12 hours/300km for January 28 to visit elephant Orphanage from Colombo and dropped by a tea factory on the way back to Colombo, which this trip should be within 12 hours/ 300km limitation. Once order placed on January 24, voucher was immediately issued and mentioned someone will contact me to confirm pick up time and itinerary. Until January 27, no one tried to contact me so I initiated what’s app to connect with local operator. It seems Klook has different local agent to work on tasks and this operator was a different agent from my other Klook trips. Then I was informed by this operator this package is limited to Colombo city area only and if I need to go out the city I need to pay extra surcharge. So I insisted to cancel the trip as I didn’t see such limitation stated in Klook app. This operator told me even I cancel the trip, no refund will be made as the deadline is due. This is not acceptable as my order placed on January 24 and no one had tried to contact me to confirm my itinerary and I was the one who contacted local operator on January 27! If someone had tried to contact me and inform the limitation, I would have canceled the trip within deadline. Klook support team is helpful and tried to help me and they are still helping me to work with the local agent on full refund and I am still waiting...

The driver is not good at his attitude. We were left unannounce (2 hours before the time of rent expired) and finally we left with a taxy ride
