What to expect
The Hands-on Yangon tour is a memorable mosaic of activities, cultural discovery and local sights. You will get to take a public ferry across the mighty Yangon River, hop on a 'dyna truck' (a local taxi), learn traditional pottery methods and more. The main highlight is the true jewel of Yangon - Shwesandaw Pagoda, one of the highest pagodas in Myanmar. The engaged tour is sure to have you feeling hungry, but don't worry - everything's taken care of as your next stop is a popular local vegetarian restaurant close to the local market. You will also have plenty of time to spare to do some exploring of your own before hopping on the return ferry boat ride.

Cool!! you can make a pot as you like. Very good experience!
great and memorable trip. got to see the other side of this country
Visited the production process of pottery, you can also do it yourself, the pagoda is tall, not bad!
The arrangement is very good, will recommend!
A good guide, will explain in detail for us, itinerary is reasonable, will continue to support
Itinerary is very rich, making pottery interesting fun
In my imagination, I thought the highlight is the word "Hands-On" and pottery would be the main activity. Turns out we were left confused, watching the local do the pottery, telling us it takes one day to dry and make into final pottery. They did not prompt us to try and we thought maybe after we leave, the next stop is to go to a place where we can try out the pottery. End up, we were brought to lunch then go back. Being rather less confronting type of character, we did not ask further but if i pay 80sgd/pax for any activity that says hands-on, i expect they at least prompt us to try making something that we can bring back. Even if they dont want to prompt us, or even if i dont want to do, at least give me your smallest tiniest clay souvenir to make me feel better. Other countries can do better with this price paid, given we have tried a series of day trips within Asia. Dont get me wrong. I think the guide is a good man but I just dont think the guide or the driver got paid alot from this assignment either. The money probably all went to the middle men and god knows who. Maybe the price is wrongly uploaded when the activity is loaded on the website. If you see this review in time, you might really want to re-consider OR make sure you insist and prompt them to make your imagination come true.
Thank you for choosing Klook and for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry to hear that the tour arrangement didn't meet your expectation. We value your feedback and surely will report to the merchant for further improvements. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation. Thank you!
