Reviews
We like the guide, Thakur Nepal. He picked us up on time, is pleasantly conversant, and very accommodating. He asked us for our preferences in terms of the itinerary and food. He volunteered to take our photos too. He was patient with us and answered our questions the best he could. We like the itinerary but unfortunately did not see the Himalayan range as it was foggy. The hike to the Changunarayan Temple is a bit long, at least for us. The driver is careful and nice too.
We weren’t able to see the Himalayas and Mt Everest but it was an overall good experience.
First of all, I would like to strongly recommend our tour guide Rajan. He is one of the few tour guides I have met who makes people feel comfortable, friendly, knows how to control the pace, and is also enthusiastic. We had a blast spending a few hours hiking with him and would highly recommend him as a guide. At the same time, I would also like to give feedback that the car assigned by the travel agency was very poor (maybe all cars in Nepal are so bad). In addition, it took more than an hour to drive on a mountain road. The car had poor suspension and was crowded, and Nepal had completely unbuilt broken roads. I got carsick when I reached the top of the mountain, so points were deducted for the car.
We learned a lot of cultural knowledge from Manoj. It’s a wonderful experience.
Ram is a great guide. The tour provided a very local experience in Nepal.
