Reviews
Our tour guide, Mike, was very professional, providing detailed explanations and jokes, creating a great overall atmosphere. He also frequently considered the feelings of the group members throughout the process. This trip was a very good experience.
beer beer beer and more beer!! I don't usually drink so during this tour alone i've probably had more beer than the entire year 🤣 thank you mike for being such a fun guide to be with.. we met up at the meeting point as per the reservation and took the train to Isartor station to start the tour.. train ticket was already purchased by the guide beforehand so no need to prepare anything extra..
Our guide, Keith, is knowledgeable and very attentive to the participants’ needs. He had to double up as the waiter at one of the busier restaurants. Nice as a way to meet up with people and to get to know some history of Munich beer.
The guide, Stevo is very knowledgeable, fun and engaging with all the people in the group of 21. We had a wonderful evening and recommend others to join the Bavarian Beer Walking tour.
Nice experience, best beer
First of all I had a great time at this tour. T guide did his job but wasn’t all the interesting - he gave you what you expected but nothing extra. the meeting point was not at city centre so made us went all the way from the centre to the meeting point then went back to the centre. However, we had a good crowd so the night was filled of laughter, so giving it a 4 stars in terms of overall. experience.
If you like beer, don’t miss it. You are given a bottle of beer as a welcome drink before departure. You can drink it while walking and continue drinking after getting on the subway. It is a very fresh experience. The first stop is to visit the Beer Museum. There are three beers for you to taste, and they are paired with the famous salt biscuits. Afterwards, the tour guide took us to visit the grain market, introduce beer restaurants and visit the Hofbräuhaus. The highlight is of course dinner. The atmosphere in the beer house is very good. Cold dishes are ready as soon as you sit down (Picture 1), which tastes very good. Next comes pork and sausages, bread balls (Picture 2), sauerkraut salad, etc. The food is not one for each person, but shared among everyone, and the beer is one cup for each person. The portion is very sufficient, and if you don’t have enough, you can order extra money. It was over at about 9:30 in the evening, and all the group members left on their own. All in all, the atmosphere was good and I learned a lot about beer.
Steve was a great guide, funny and entertaining with great knowledge about the places. I was traveling solo and had a great time with the group. Thank you.
I have never understood the grade or history of German beer. This time I used more than 3 hours to experience the scare. I have almost 20 friends with me.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and added a lot of knowledge to us. And there was beer and food waiting for us to chat and have a happy evening alone.
Good to know
Take note that this is not a pub crawl. Please make sure to always drink responsibly
