The guided tour is almost twice just buying the ticket alone directly at the park but the guide is very informative. we also have a lot of time to explore on our own and didn't have to deal with confusing different ticket classes.

Whilst it was alright as an introduction and taster of historic Pompeii, we found the programme was somewhat selective, partly due to how quickly time flies amidst the very large site. The place does get quite crowded especially at specific sites, so we found that we did not have enough time to soak up the atmosphere and appreciate the history. A plus point is we were allowed to roam around after the tour. We spent the full day on site (another 6+ hours after the tour) and covered approximately 70% of the site on the 'green' pass. In terms of historical and cultural significance, we would definitely recommend a visit to this trip back in time - almost 2000 years ago!
We strongly recommend this tour. Lilia was our guide and she was great! We saw all the highlights while skipping the big tourist groups throughout our way, thanks to Lilia’s experience and knowledge.
Lilia the tour guide was really fantastic. She shared with us a lot of insights about the ruins. Unfortunately, the iterinary was a killer joy for us. There was a return to Napoli as part of the iterinary but City Wonder said there is no return for us. In the end, we have to go back on our own instead and another couple was also impacted as well.
Good tour guide but the travel agent coordinator only appeared at the last minute.
It's too relaxed... It would be better to allocate time more efficiently.
