truly no bad seats here. the vibes from the cast were amazing and definitely worth the money. billie, yna, liberty, hannah, lizzie and eloise really did set the stage on fire with their amazing performance. would 100% watch again whenever they’re back in singapore!
Absolutely loved it! Everything was great. I had high expectations for the show due to being a fan and the performers delivered. Even the staff were great and friendly. I even got myself a souvenir. Too bad they're only here for a short awhile and not during the holidays or I would have gone there again
This musical features six ex-wives of Henry VIII. The plot unfolds in the form of a modern pop music concert. They appear one by one, reviewing their lives, marriages, and experiences through songs, trying to compete for the title of "Who is the most miserable queen?" In the process, they gradually realize that they are not appendages in Henry VIII's life, but individuals with their own emotions and independent existence. They begin to unite and jointly show their female strength and independent thinking, emphasizing the concept of "individual value is higher than marriage and family roles", and conveying a strong message of female empowerment to the audience.
such a great musical! its a concert like musical where the actors are so talented that the show didnt feel like a musical! the show is only 80mins long which isnt the regular length of a musical but time passed by so fast that i wished it was longer
Easy booking and fast. Tickets are easy to use. Down side hope we can choose the seats when booking via Klook.
**Review of *Six: The Musical*** *Six: The Musical* is a bold, vibrant, and refreshingly modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII. Conceived by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the show reimagines the historical figures as a pop music group, each wife given her own distinct voice and musical style. The concept is simple yet effective: rather than a traditional, linear narrative, *Six* presents the wives as a girl group competing to tell their stories, with each number representing the woman’s unique perspective on her marriage and life. From the opening song, "Ex-Wives," the musical hits the ground running with an infectious energy. The choreography, costumes, and lighting all emphasize a contemporary pop star aesthetic, but the storytelling is where *Six* truly shines. Each wife brings her own personality, and the show manages to balance humor, heartache, and empowerment in a way that feels both entertaining and meaningful. Catherine of Aragon kicks things off with a regal, slightly Latin-infused anthem about loyalty and devotion. Anne Boleyn, in a sharp and witty number, embraces her rebellious, flirtatious persona. The other wives—Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr—each get their moment in the spotlight, their songs reflecting the diverse musical genres of pop, R&B, rock, and even hip hop. The show is structured around these individual performances, allowing each wife to express her own personality and emotions through a catchy, high-energy number. What makes *Six* particularly compelling is its blend of humor and poignancy. The wives, though portrayed with a sense of fun, are not reduced to one-dimensional caricatures. Their experiences are rich with complexity: love, betrayal, grief, and survival. The show succeeds in humanizing these historical figures, turning them into relatable characters, and empowering them through their own voices. The vocal performances are stellar, with each actress bringing a unique flair to her character. The tight harmonies, dynamic choreography, and high energy on stage create an immersive, fast-paced experience that keeps the audience engaged throughout. The songs are catchy and memorable, blending history with modern sensibilities. *Six* also stands out for its feminist lens. The wives are not just victims of their circumstances but are portrayed as strong women who took control of their own destinies, whether through defiance, sacrifice, or sheer survival. In a way, the musical serves as both a celebration of female empowerment and a critique of the historical forces that shaped their lives. While *Six* doesn’t aim to offer a historically accurate or exhaustive retelling of the wives’ lives, it captures the essence of their stories in a fun, fresh, and accessible way. The show doesn’t take itself too seriously but also doesn't shy away from the emotional weight of its subject matter. It’s a smart, entertaining, and ultimately uplifting celebration of these women’s lives, making them feel relevant to modern audiences. In short, *Six* is a musical that takes risks, reinvents history, and delivers a compelling, high-energy experience that resonates with audiences of all ages. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling, sisterhood, and the joy of finding one’s voice—whether in the court of King Henry VIII or the pop music charts.
Show was at 6:30pm. Last bell for seating was around 6:15pm. Recommended to go earlier to queue and take photos instead of trying to take photos after the show ends. Show was 80 mins long without any breaks.
The Six musical was fantastic! We absolutely loved the energy from the performers as well as the crowd. The show was entertaining and took an interesting spin on the her-story of Henry VIII’s six wives!
