Kyoto City Subway and Bus 1 Day Ticket

I am so glad that this was available on Klook once again before my trip started. So easy to claim at Kansai airport but had to wait a few minutes as store opened at 9 a.m. Getting this pass allowed me to explore Kyoto conveniently as I just had to show the pass to the bus driver every time I took a bus ride.

This trip to Kansai, Japan is full of rich cultural experiences and gourmet feasts! From the thousand-year-old temples in Kyoto and the tranquility of the bamboo forest trails in Arashiyama, to the bustling streets of Osaka and the excitement of Universal Studios, every stop is impressive. The transportation arrangements were smooth, and the JR PASS, IC card, and Osaka Transportation Card made movement more convenient. Although some parts of the itinerary were a bit rushed, the overall pace was well controlled. The deer in Nara, the thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari, and the magnificence of Osaka Castle have all become unforgettable memories. The seafood at Kuromon Market and the takoyaki at Dotonbori are even more delicious. The only small regret is that due to limited time, I was unable to explore each attraction in more depth, but this is also the best reason to visit again next time! Easy to use, can be used for Kyoto's subway and buses, with direct bus access to major famous attractions; the subway requires transfers with buses. You need to take several buses every day, so one card can actually pay for itself, a very cost-effective transportation card, highly recommended for exploring Kyoto.

This time, I purchased the Kyoto City Subway & Bus One-Day Pass on Klook. On a weekday, I went to Shimogamo Shrine to enjoy its tranquility. The cherry blossoms in full bloom were beautiful, serene, and very pleasant.

With the Bus and Subway One-Day Pass, it pays for itself if you take more than 5 rides in a day. After going through customs, turn left and then go upstairs to the JR escalator. It is easy to find and exchange. After redeeming the card, you can find a day to use it. It is very convenient. You can take the bus or subway to the famous attractions in Kyoto.

In the morning, take a walk around Kiyomizu-dera Temple, then visit Arashiyama, followed by a visit to Shimogamo Shrine, and finally see the TEAMLAB exhibition. There are many buses, and using Google Maps to check usually means you don't have to wait too long.

You'll need to go to Terminal 1 to exchange your voucher. They open around 9:30 AM. The voucher makes taking the train very convenient and is a great value. Once you arrive at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a popular attraction, the scenery is beautiful and stunning. It pays for itself after just a few uses. Highly recommended.
