Gyeongju Historical One Day Tour from Busan

We had the best tour with our guide Nami. She had so much knowledge and was so kind and helpful. Gyeongju is a beautiful and historic city, and the night view of Donggung Palace, Wolji pond and Woljeonggyo Bridge were beautiful. Highly reccomend this tour in any season.

Take a one-day bus tour from Busan to Gyeongju, located in Gyeongsangbuk-do. You don’t have to worry about transportation and language. It includes attraction tickets and a tour guide and driver. It’s really convenient! Through the preliminary guided tour, you can better understand the historical and cultural charm of Bulguksa Temple and Daleungwon. In the evening, we took a walk and ate delicious food on Hwangnidan-ro. The night view of the Donggung Palace, Wolji Pond, and Woljeong Bridge was super beautiful and amazing!

Absolutely loved our guide! She was so knowledgable and extremely nice, really went above and beyond. I got super lucky and only 1 other person booked the tour, so it was like a private tour at an insanely good price. I learned so much about Korea in such a short time, it was a nice escape from the k-wave stuff that you see a lot in the city.

I wanted to go to Gyeongju by myself from Busan, so I was looking for a tour that would get me there efficiently. The tour details were written in English and Korean, but the guide, Nami, guided me in Japanese. The shuttle driver was a woman who drove very safely and was very attentive. It was great value for money. I want to go again.

Gyeongju, known as Jincheng in ancient times, was once the capital of the Silla Kingdom. It has many world cultural heritage sites, such as Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto and Gyeongju Historic District. It is a famous historical city in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. This one-day tour is only a 90-minute drive from Busan. You can take a special bus to visit Bulguksa Temple and Daereungwon (Cheonmachong) to experience the charm of the world heritage; then go shopping on Huanglidanji Road and eat classic 10 Woncake; and finally, the wonderful night view of Donggung Palace, Woljeong Bridge and Woljeong Bridge with charming light and shadow completed the beautiful day of Gyeongju one-day tour!

The itinerary has a great arrangement of attractions. Among them, the part about Bulguksa Temple is my favorite. While walking with the tour guide, I listened to many interesting stories. It was a very calm and comfortable atmosphere, so relaxing.
