What to expect

The "Hong Kong Holiday & Travel Expo 2026" organized by the Exhibition Group and co-organized by the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, will be held from 29 January to 1 February, 2026, at Hall 5BCD of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Meticulously curated to cater to the diverse interests of travel enthusiasts, this year’s Expo brings together leading industry professionals and travel brands from around the world. Visitors will be able to discover the latest airfare and hotel deals, exclusive tour and cruise promotions, travel gear showcases, destination and culinary highlights, as well as a wealth of up-to-date travel information — all under one roof.

The Expo has attracted a wide range of international tourism organizations and offices (in no particular order), including KKday, Hulunbuir Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Taiwan Visitors Association Hong Kong Office, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Hong Kong), and multiple Japanese prefectures and organizations such as Kumamoto Prefecture, Saga Prefecture, the Tokyu Hotels Group, and Tobu Railway.

Together, they showcase the diversity, vitality, and innovative spirit of the global travel industry. Also participating are numerous leading travel agencies and brands (in no particular order), such as EGL Tours, WWPKG, Wing On Travel, Charming Holidays, Premium Holidays, Trip.com, Jetour, Miramar Travel, TCI Travel, Travel Expert, DeWonder Travel, Skywards Travel, China Travel Service, Big Line Holiday, TravPholer, Eat Play Travel, SunflowerTravel, Yummy Holiday, Travel Resources Limited, Syn Travel, etc… The event also receives strong support from major local business partners — including Mastercard, the Club, CSL Mobile Limited, and S.F. Express — joining hands to promote Hong Kong’s potential as a key travel and tourism hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

Returning to the Expo this year, Hong Kong Television Network Limited (HKTVmall) will once again provide on-site access to multiple travel booking platforms, offering visitors instant flight and hotel reservations with special rebate rewards. Making its debut at the Travel Expo, world-renowned luggage brand Samsonite will join hands with various outdoor and lifestyle brands to showcase premium travel essentials, perfectly suited for modern travelers seeking convenience, functionality, and style.

In addition, the Expo has specially invited several renowned local cultural organizations to participate, including T Cube Culture and Education Limited (Intangible Cultural Heritage Store), Hung Mui Fa Pai Advertising Agency, and the Hong Kong Tram Heritage Association. Together, they will showcase the unique charm of Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage and urban history, offering visitors deeper insight into the city’s traditional craftsmanship and cultural legacy.

Visitors can look forward to a vibrant line-up of more than 50 travel-themed seminars and live performances, offering practical insights and inspiration for travel planning. Adding an extra touch of excitement, the brand-new interactive event — the “King of Luggage Competition” — will make its debut, inviting participants to test their luggage-handling skills in a fun and engaging competition. More than 5,800 prizes, with a total value exceeding HK$300,000, will be distributed during the Expo. The first 500 attendees each day may also receive a free travel SIM card (terms and conditions apply). To enhance the festive atmosphere, mascot parades will take place on January 31 and February 1 at 3:00 p.m., offering delightful interactive moments for visitors of all ages. Another highlight of the show will be the annual Travel Photography Exhibition — themed “Make Every Festive Moment at a Time”. The exhibition will feature outstanding works by photographers and travel enthusiasts, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in vibrant festival cultures from around the world and spark their own wanderlust.

This year, the Expo is proud to collaborate with Ming Pao to launch the “Study Tour Discovery Zone” and host the “Hong Kong Outstanding School Study Tour Award Presentation” on January 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.The ceremony aims to recognize and commend local schools for their dedication in fostering students’ global exposure and experiential learning opportunities. It also expresses appreciation to the education sector for creating valuable international exchange experiences, enabling Hong Kong students to engage with diverse cultures and educational systems, broaden their horizons, and develop a deeper appreciation for global diversity.

Good to know

  • Valid ticket must be presented for admission to the Expo.
  • All tickets are not refundable.
  • Each person must hold a valid ticket.
  • Free admission for persons aged 65 or above holding an senior citizen card or presenting an identification card (JoyYou Card is not applicable), or persons with registration card for people with disabilities, or children under 1 meter in height.
  • No person shall bring any pets or livestock into the exhibition hall (except for guide dog).
  • No prior notice will be given for any change on performance and/or programs.
  • The Organizer reserves the rights to refuse the admission to any visitors deemed inappropriate.
  • Smoking and outside food and beverages are not allowed in the event venue.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to require any visitors who violate the rules or disturb the exhibition to leave immediately.
