What to expect
In 1740, renowned Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi relocated to Vienna, three years after the completion of the impressive Karlskirche, also known as St. Charles' Church. Unfortunately, Vivaldi's time in Vienna was marked by poverty, and he passed away here on July 28, 1741, finding his resting place at Karlskirche. Regrettably, his tomb, like Mozart's, did not survive
Despite these setbacks, Vivaldi's enduring masterpiece, the 'Four Seasons,' persists. With this ticket, you can personally experience these timeless concertos. The four revolutionary violin concertos, inspired by Vivaldi's poems, transport you into a world of thunderstorms, breaking ice, bird twitterings, barking dogs, and more. Immerse yourself in this masterpiece within the enchanting surroundings of the beautiful Karlskirche, or St. Charles' Church

I thought there wouldn't be many listeners on a Monday, but unexpectedly the house was packed. It is very convenient to redeem the physical ticket. Just go to the left side of the entrance and find the staff with the order QR CODE. Karlskirche is located in the Danube District, where three subway lines intersect. It only takes 10 minutes for us to get here from our hotel near the Danube Tower, so the transportation is very convenient. The 1765 Orchestra has its own style of interpreting the music, and the members have a great understanding of each other, making it a rich feast for the senses both auditory and visual. It is recommended to line up 40 minutes before the show starts so that you can grab the front seats in the area.
Be there early and get the good seats in cat II. it’s worth it. Much better than cat I seats that are at the sides.
the agency sent the e-ticket the nice before so no need to redeem any tickets. Very good and entertaining concert. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
great acoustics in the church and great music, very impressive, you should get there early enough as you only book one category
The interior of the church is very beautiful. It is recommended to buy a more expensive seat in the front to experience it. The first violin is really amazing. It is a great musical feast.
Managed to be assign at the 5th row for Cat 1 ticket. Directly received the ticket QR code via email, skipped the queue to change the ticket. Very fortunate to have unblocked view of the stage and the musicians. The concert is worth it, acoustics at the front is pretty good, not so sure about the Center or the back row. Combined with the Church Vibes, it is highly recommended.
If you love Vivaldi, you would like this concert. Very good experience, not overly long so was enjoyable- they played the famous pieces from the 4 seasons and Handel. We went on a rainy night and it was nice that underneath the seats were heated and they provided blankets too. Do note: No photography during concert.
Concert was awesome! there are 1 more piece played before the Four Season, both solo performers and the group are performing great music with the Church as backdrop! However the venue acoustics is not allow no amplifier, if seat in the middle would be the best.
Seats: You will receive an email notification about your seat assignment one or two days prior, so you don't need to arrive very early to grab a seat. However, they usually start letting people in around 7:45-7:50 PM. In any case, it doesn't start until 8:15 PM, so I don't think you need to arrive too early. There are no restrooms inside; you have to use the paid restrooms outside. If you need to use the restroom, please do so outside beforehand.
During the performance, it can be found that the members have a perfect tacit understanding. When the rhythm changes, they will communicate with each other with their eyes. It can be observed that the facial expressions of each member are full of a kind of integration into the melody.
