What to expect
The stunning Japanese Alps stretch from the Pacific Ocean to the Sea of Japan, with beautiful scenery throughout. In the Northern Alps in Toyama Prefecture is the famous Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. This route stretches across a mountain range and goes over magnificent gorges, charming lakes, and seemingly endless highlands. During the winter, this area is transformed into a white paradise, with snow-covered walls that can stretch as high as 20 meters (60 feet). On this tour, you will ride one of our company’s buses to get to the highest point, in Murodo, where you can walk along this snow wall and enjoy the other winter sights in the area. On the way there, we will have a brief stop in Ashikuraji, the traditional start of the climb to Mt. Tateyama.

Reviews
A convenient and comfort way to travel between Toyama and yuki no otani during peak season. Our guide is nice and talkative, shared lots of story and cultural things with us, we have a good timing.
The itinerary assembly instructions are clear, there is a luxury chartered car to pick up and drop off at Toyama Station, the tour guide and driver are professional, and the 5 group members are from Hong Kong, France and Hawaii, so they can communicate with each other, the itinerary is smooth and pleasant, and it is convenient and time-saving to reach the destination of Tateyama Kurobe. It is a must-see attraction. I am fortunate to visit here and witness the magnificent scenery with my own eyes. Although the price is indeed a bit expensive, it is worth participating 🥰
Thanks to the very friendly guide and driver, I had a great travel experience. The guide was from Northern Ireland, and he was very kind and detailed in his explanations of each spot. The shrines and villages we stopped by before going to the snow wall and Murodo were also beautiful. Overall, it was a good plan. In particular, the route to Murodo was very difficult to go alone, but it was convenient to take the bus. I recommend it.
Beautiful scenery, excellent tour guide, and great driving!
We had so much fun on our tour. Our guide, Liam was very informative and was very attentive and fun to talk to. Wish it didn’t rain so hard while we were at the snow wall but we still had a great time even though we were wet and cold. Nadine, the coordinator was also very pleasant to talk to. She was very patient with my queries. Dealing with Klook was great and I would not hesitate to book again with them.
Must have tour. very nice experience and Mike who is tour guide is amazing.
we really liked the trip, the tour operator was very nice and knowledgeable. we also liked the fact that it was a small group with really nice people. Time at the snow wall was almost a bit too much, given what you can do
Great tour, even though we had bad luck with the weather. The snow wall was unfortunately closed when we arrived at the top due to a storm. Otherwise, there were only 4 of us plus the driver and Andy - our super guide 👍🏻 - who explained a lot, showed us around, and gave many tips.
The tour guide is a passionate Scottish man who will explain the history and provide travel advice in a timely manner. The driver drives very steadily and it is a great experience
we very.organized tour . the tour guide Daniel very gentleman and knowledgeable. we do have plenty of time to spend at the snow wall area.
