We absolutely loved our kimono rental experience! 🩷 The staff were so kind, friendly, and approachable, and they made the whole experience feel extra special. I especially love how they styled my hair—it was so beautiful and elegant, and matched my kimono perfectly! 🥺🌸 I also really loved our kimonos and how everything came together. We booked this for our first wedding anniversary in Kyoto, and it became such a beautiful memory for us. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! Highly recommended! 🇯🇵🏯🩷

Incredible experience, you have to try at least once! I had so much fun picking out the pieces for my kimono ! Upgrading the hairstyle cost $15aud and was worth it for our photoshoot. Steven (English photographer) was great at directing our poses and location for the shots. He was fun and passionate which definitely made it less awkward. Steven knew what poses work with our appearance and captured the idea we were aiming to achieve. However, be understanding of the facility as it is quite small and crammed with lots of people coming in for their appointments. The girl running the service bookings knows 3 languages which is incredible and she is super helpful and understanding. If you need help with picking out your kimono and accompanying pieces ask the ladies for some suggestions. Enjoy! love from Australia 🇦🇺❤️

I had such a great time!! My boyfriend and I both got the special offer on kimono deal and did the 30 minute photography which was amazing!! The staff are all so nice and amazing!! My boyfriend ended up proposing during the photoshoot and the photographer helped encapture the moment perfectly!! I 10 out of 10 reccommend this place if you’re looking for a kimono rental and photography!!

Look no further!!! This is the best kimono shop in Kyoto! The staffs are incredibly friendly, professional, and organized. The ladies were so helpful in giving recommendations while we picked out our kimonos, and their hairstyling skills are truly unmatched. my daughter got a free hairstyle upgrade and she was over the moon with her hairstyle. Everything was handled so smoothly, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. I also highly recommend adding the professional photography service. Our photographer knew all the best spots and poses to capture beautiful photos. The pictures turned out amazing and made the whole experience even more memorable. Experience: 2/10 We were lucky that the costume team was quick and professional. They didn't try to push sales and offered the best advice, letting us change into the most harmonious kimonos. We were finished, with the whole family dressed and made up, in less than an hour. When we were taking family photos, it had snowed the night before, and when we were shooting at 10 a.m., it was lightly flurrying with graupel. The photographer said that in the almost 10 years he's been shooting the same scene, it was the first time he'd seen it with snow, and just the right amount of snowflakes falling. The photographer was very professional and gave us some pointers on how to pose for the photos, giving us many beautiful pictures.

After researching many different styles online, I really liked this hidden gem. The reception was friendly and attentive, and they offer comprehensive service in Chinese, English, and Japanese, so you don't have to worry about language barriers. The hairstylist is Japanese, and I only had to show her a picture, point, and use simple English, but she immediately understood the modern, voluminous look I wanted. I paired it with the lace kimono I chose + purchased an hour of photography. The photographer seemed to be taking snapshots casually, but the finished product surprised me. Highly recommend! 💓

We had an absolutely amazing time, dressing in our Kimonos and having our hair done. The team were so helpful and friendly and well organised. we had plenty of time to walk around locally and take photos - great fun

they gave me a free upgraded hairstyle! thank you super live the pink kimono and the ruffles. location is good. near gion. we were there super early. then opened at 8:30 but we were accommodated as early as 8:15am.

jiang Cheng is the best! She knows a lot of beautiful places to take pictures. Very professional and friendly. she waited for us to be finished for our kimono session. we are family of 4 so it takes time. we love her work for 30 minutes a lot of pictures and different poses with her own props. She also take our pictures at the Yasaka Pagoda so we are comfortable with her already. Highly recommended her!!! :)

it was my second time to rent kimonos for the group from this place. Perfect service, really attentive and professional staff, great selection of kimonos. will definitely come back with the next group;)
