Reviews
Our guide scarlet for our cherry blossom boat ride was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped aboard, everything felt serene and thoughtfully arranged. As we glided along the water, we were surrounded by rows of delicate cherry blossoms in full bloom, their petals drifting gently like pink snow. The atmosphere was peaceful yet vibrant, making it the perfect way to experience the beauty of the season. The staff was warm and attentive, ensuring everyone felt comfortable while sharing interesting insights about the blossoms and the area. Timing was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the soft glow of the blossoms at their peak. It was a truly unforgettable experience—romantic, relaxing, and visually stunning. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy cherry blossom season in a unique and memorable way.
The highlight of the tour was watching the cherry blossoms in two different ways; walking along the waterways and from the Jikkokubune boat (a once in a lifetime experience). The tour was organized to allow guests the freedom to see the sights in the Fushimi. Because we started early it wasn’t as crowded and being a half-day tour allowed all of us to do other things. We had an intimate group (ten people that represented so many places in the world), that continued on with a mini-Kaiseki meal. The restuarant staff provided friendly service, a very delicious and so filling. we chose to tour the Gekkaikan Okura Sake Museum. it was one additional specialty in Kyoto. Doomo Arigatoo for w wonderful day🌸
I participated in today's cherry blossom viewing event on the Fushimi Jikkokubune boat. I joined because I couldn't get a reservation online beforehand, so I had to book the activity through the Klook platform. However, the entire event went smoothly, and the spectacular cherry blossoms along the way were unforgettable. I was the first guest to check in, and luckily, my seat was in the front row, allowing me to enjoy an unobstructed view of the scenery on both banks. It was a truly memorable trip.
I tried to get tickets for the Jikkokubune boat in early April on the official website, but they sold out within a minute. To ensure I could get on the boat and avoid long queues, I opted for a Klook booking, even though it was significantly more expensive. This decision proved wise, as I saw many Japanese people arriving very early on the day, hoping to get a spot. The guide, Joy, contacted me the day before and provided clear instructions for the day's itinerary, along with information about other attractions. Along the way, I saw cherry blossoms in full bloom from the boat—it was absolutely beautiful! The itinerary for the two temples was changed to free time, which I didn't mind, as my main reason for joining this tour was to see the cherry blossoms along the river.
The tour guide was very responsible. It's extremely difficult to book the Fushimi Jikkokubune boat tour on your own, so I had to join this activity, but it wasn't bad, and the cherry blossom tunnel was beautiful.
It was absolutely worth it. The tour guide was very thoughtful, checking on each group member's needs and carefully reminding everyone what to pay attention to. They also allowed us some time to take photos and capture the beautiful scenery nearby.
So beautiful during full bloom season!!! Boat the boat ride and walking along the canal felt amazing!
It was absolutely beautiful, and the trip went smoothly. Our tour guide, Xiao Guo, was also kind and lovely. We were able to see the flowers in full bloom and didn't have to compete with others for boat tickets. This experience was truly wonderful and dreamy! ❤️
I originally wanted to buy tickets on the official website myself, but I couldn't get any, so I bought tickets from Klook. Although I felt it was much more expensive than if I bought it myself, it was still good because the tour guide Mimi took me through the history of nearby attractions and also translated and reminded me before I got on the boat. Moreover, the group members are from different countries, young and old, but she takes good care of everyone's needs and is not tired of explaining the same content in different languages. It is a very good experience😊
I had such a wonderful day today, seeing so many cherry blossoms along the river from the boat. Our tour guide, Elly, was also incredibly sweet and energetic, always smiling! She explained all the important details and attractions to us in both languages, and she was so thoughtful and attentive. It was a truly fantastic experience, and I'm incredibly satisfied!
Good to know
