Reviews
Reviews summarysuper enjoyed this walking tour! its tiring cause we walked for 3 hours but we really learned a lot and got to enjoy taipei from a different view. our tour guide Minnie is also very nice and understanding :)
Another gem from Like It Formosa! My guide Julianne is so sweet and even gave me Taiwanese book recommendations (which I followed and loved, by the way!). I love how the tpur features specific examples of how rich Di Hua is during its prime, the level of detail Julianne provided throughout the tour is something I don't think I can get anywhere else.
Exploring the history of Beimen with Alvin was a fantastic experience. During the two-hour walk from Beimen to Dihua Street, he provided detailed, vivid, and engaging explanations of the landmarks and stories along the way. The pace of the tour was just right, making it easy to fully immerse ourselves. Definitely worth more than five stars—highly recommended!
Tour Guide: Joining Yuan's tour, even though I'm from Taipei, there are so many Taipei stories and the historical culture of Dadaocheng that I didn't know! These three hours were rich, in-depth, and interesting, I really enjoyed it! I originally had something to leave for, but in the end, I couldn't bear to leave and listened until the end. Thank you, Yuan, for the tour, I really like the way you tell stories!
Eva did a fantastic job telling stories n bringing out the nostalgic memories. She also recommended some nice drinks. Lots of walking but worth the effort. Highly recommended.
Our guide was Alvin. He was attentive and did give us all the details of the places that we went. Our group had 10 people, not super big so that we could hear him clearly.
Alvin was the bwat possible guide. He put Taipei in a historical context which made it easy for us to understand how the city evolved into what it is now.
