Undisclosed by expedia, this place is a prostitution hotel. If you like a dirty place, with bed equipped with a vibrator and masturbators on sale directly in tge bedroom ...... this is a must ! If you prefer a clean charming hotel ... pass your way. We stayed 10 min in it and still feel dirty

Stayed with kids

We have been using Expedia for more than 15 years with generally very good results. We trust the platform and have booked many family trips through your app without problems. Right now, we are on a family vacation in Japan with our 8-year-old daughter, staying in Tokyo for 12 days. We also took a day trip to Kyoto by bullet train and decided last minute to stay one night. We booked a hotel room through Expedia, trusting that family-friendly options would be shown to us since our reservation clearly included a child. When we arrived at around 8:00 pm and checked into the room, we were shocked. The room was clearly an adult/couple hotel room: it was full of sex toys, condoms, and there was a huge TV with adult content. We had to cover the items with towels so our child would not see them. The room also felt dirty, and the pillows had a bad smell. Only after arriving did we notice that the reservation said “adult room,” but this was never clearly explained to us, and we did not know this type of hotel was common in Tokyo/Kyoto. This was a very uncomfortable and inappropriate experience for a family with a child. We trusted Expedia to help us find suitable accommodations, especially since the booking included a minor. This experience was upsetting and disappointing, and it has affected our trust in using Expedia for family travel in Japan. I strongly believe Expedia should clearly filter out adult/couple hotels when a reservation includes children, or at least provide warnings

This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!

Fantastic

This was our favourite hotel of our trip. The outside is fairly grand, although it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There is a couple of convenience stores within a ten-minute walk, but not really any restaurants we could see. There are other grand hotels in the vicinity. The reception was equipped with some comfortable seats and booths, as well as the “menu” of rooms, where you see photos and categories of the rooms available. Outside the door, was a large parking structure. The receptionist, while not unfriendly, was visibly frustrated having to deal with English guests and was rather snappy at first. The Room was huge. The bathroom was large and comfortable, with a huge array of products and hair/grooming tools available to use. Hair dryer, curler, straightener, you name it. We tried the jet bubble bath and it was pretty relaxing and nice. Plus, the bath is large enough for two humans to relax together. In the centre of the room, a fabulous massage chair was free to use and I enjoyed. All in all, I would not say the food was that great. It was a pity. A furthermore, it wasn’t as advertised. For the price, I’d say it was okay and certainly for the convenience. The facilities and the furnishings of the room, the size of the guest space and the food brought to you, when compared against other non-love hotels, come out absolutely on top. Love hotels are the way to go.

More my own fault not realizing the distance, but it isn't as close to some of the stuff I wanted to see than I thought, that said, breakfast was delicious everyday, and the staff was friendly and accommodating

Went beyond expectation for a fair price point. Looked really grand. Staff was corteous. It's a love hotel, yes. But we're all adults and shouldn't care how others do their business.

Fantastic
We spent two nights here while visiting Kyoto. We knew what a love hotel was, so were not put off of the "adult amenities" in the room. The room was spotless, large, and a wonderful place to stay while exploring the region. a bit of a walk from the subway station, but it was an easy walk through primarily residential neighborhoods. We had dinner at restaurants around the area, and had wonderful food, for very good prices - not the high end Kyoto prices that we had heard about. A wonderful retreat!

The best hotel we had in Japan!!!! The rooms are huge, bathroom has a jacuzzi and we have breakfast delivered in the room! It's clean and the service is good: even though they don't have a great command of English, they make a lot of efforts. Granted, it is a bit far from the city centre but it's a 15-mn walk from the metro station and there are a lot of bus stops around. I would totally recommend it and book it again!!

Be ready to walk as the hotel is a 15min walk from the subway. The hotel is located in a ruralist area but the room itself makes up for it. The room is massive and it includes every amedities you can think of including some pleasurable treats. Breakfast and room service are delicious. The staff are very friendly.
