This hotel was an amazing location! The rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures look- the table in our room was huge and made it hard to get around the room. We could also hear the guests next door who were a bit loud. The lobby of the hotel is very cool and they have tea served in the evening. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location can’t be beat !!

Clean room. Friendly staff. No breakfast room. Rooms do not have external windows; the only window is near the door facing atrium. Low ceilings. Room temperature control seems not adjustable, centrally controlled.

Prime location in the heart of Gion, yet ultra quiet. Nice combo of traditional meets modern styling. The “make your own bread” option for breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay here again in Kyoto- super convenient and amazing amenities!
