Room was clean. Bed comfy. A bit noisy with the wind but you get that when you are in amongst some beautiful tuart trees. Lovely surroundings.

We stayed for one night in a Superior Tent at Discovery Resorts – Rottnest Island and had a wonderful experience. The tent was very spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and plenty of room to relax. We were lucky enough to get a tent facing the water and got a lovely view of the sunrise in the morning. Breakfast offered a great variety of options and was enjoyable. Our only regret was not staying longer to enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

Great
Fabulous location, great accommodation and amenities. What let it down was the bar and food service. Incredibly slow, kids meal came last and burnt.

Great place, Location amazing for 2 beautiful beaches at your door step Come at night, no instructions on electric blankets. Asked staff they didn’t know, figured it out ourselves for second night making it more comfortable Seagulls annoying at outside meal area and can ruin your meal Food fantastic, great value $100 a night surcharge to have our 6 month old baby stay in our own cot we bought a bit steep

Pros: direct access to Pinky Beach, The Basin, Bathurst Lighthouse - as in literally in front of the hotel. Beds are comfortable. Quokkas plenty around. Cons: don’t expect full hotel service. Staff’s great but the people who are serving you drinks are also the people at the reception. You will have to wait patiently. For international travellers, sockets are not universal and they do not have charger adapters on loan so pls consider before travelling. Breakfast was okay but nothing to rave about if I’m honest. if you need your food reheated you will have to microwave it for a few minutes/cycles. The power is not good enough. Maybe part of their ecohotel energy saving initiatives. The biggest con for me is that if you need something, you’ll have to walk your way to reception but after 10pm, you’ll have to call the Discovery Resorts hotline number and NOBODY PICKS UP - only voicemail. It’s 2026 - why they don’t have a whatsapp or online platform , I don’t know. We stayed 2 nights - our smoke alarm was sounding off at weird hours like 6am. First day, reported to receptionist but not fixed. Next morning alarm sounded off at 3am many times, disturbing our sleep. Called the hotline number, only voicemail.

The tents are beautiful and specious inside. Bed was quite comfy as were the pillows. You can open the zips/windows on the tent to let the airflow through and there is a fan to keep it cool. As its on the beach is is windy and was nice a cool at night anyway. Bathroom is specious with two sinks and a large shower. The only things we didn't love were the fact there is no door on the bathroom and there is only a glass door for the toilet with a large opening/gap at the top so if you need use the toilet, there is absolutely no privacy. Also the shower heads need replacing on the bathroom. The main shower/rainfall head is ok, but the spray hose is rusted and falling apart. There was also a bit of grime in the corners on the shower. The kitchenette is great. Has a sink, mini fridge, pod coffee machine, microwave, kettle, washing up equipment, a small milk and water in the fridge, a variety of tea and coffee. It's also quite noisy with many families and young kids around who do wake up early. Fine if you're an early riser, but if you want a sleep in, don't count on it. Breakfast wasn't amazing. Everything was very dry and overcooked, so wouldn't reccommend the breakfast of it's an optional extra you can choose. There is a Webber on the balcony of the tent which looked clean and in good condition so would recommend buying food from the store and cooking yourself. Balcony is also very spacious with a good table and lounge on it. Very relaxing sitting watching the ocean
