The front desk wanted to charge 15 pounds for us to check in 30 min early. Buffet was basic and did not change at all so by day 3 we didn’t even want to eat there. Staff overall not the most friendly. Worse part by far is the entire hallway on the ground floor where our room was located off the lobby freaked of sewage. It was so bad I wanted to gag and had to hold by breath all the way to the end of the hall where my room was located every time we entered or exited. It was horrible and remained that way the entire stay.

Stayed with friends

I stayed here years ago. The quality has gone significanlty downhill. There are no phones in the rooms, so everytime I needed to talk to reception I had to go downstairs. I had to prebook a table even when there were plenty of table available, so we ended up having to go elswhere to eat or wait for up to an hour to get a table in an empty restaurant. It seems the hotel is understaffed, because the front desk person was also waiting tables and perhaps cooking the meal, resulting in a long wait for food for the one meal that we ate here. The rooms were clean, but we had to request house keeping by noon the day before we needed it. Again, we could not make this request by calling the front desk, we had to go downstairs and wait until the front desk person was available to talk to us. The air conditioning automatically shut off at night. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave, so this was very uncomfortable. And, of course, we had to go down to the front desk to report this after we had settled down to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel.

Fantastic

Great clean hotel in perfect location close to subway, attractions, and lots of food options. Perfect for family with kids. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and refreshing AC during heat wave.

El cuarto no tiene agua caliente para bañarse y el desayuno todo los resfresco y jugos son al tiempo no volvería a recervar con ellos

The property was clean, but a little noisy from the nearby subway line. The breakfast was good.

Great value for the convenience, closeness to the Tower, location, and breakfast. However, the lady rolled her eyes at us during breakfast. Also the shower was kind of high and glass shower door blocked halfway and water sprayed everywhere. Check-in was easy and friendly reception.

Very nice rooms. Spacious room. Very comfy beds. Large bathroom. Quiet. Location great. Short Walking distance to bus and tube. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast gave us nutritious, delicious meals at a very affordable price. Meal deals were awesome. Their was little wait time and staff were very attentive and polite. The staff gave us extra care when I became ill. They are very caring and went out of their way to help us. I felt like a human being, not just another guest. A special thanks to everyone, especially Maria and Saqi. Plus the other gentlemen who I did not get their names but were also very helpful and polite. Also thanks to the cleaners for keeping the rooms clean and giving fresh towels on request. We had a very pleasant stay and hope to return sometime in the future.

Good

Solo stay

While the location was great, staff friendly and the room fairly clean, the problem was that my room (509) was completely airless, stuffy and smelly. The windows were sealed (understandable) and had stickers on saying “don’t worry there will be plenty of air” - but the room hvac system was hardly working. The controls were unusable and it would run for a short while then switch off. This lead to a dank and unpleasant room - every time I entered after going out it just hit you.
