The rom itself was fine, though the bathroom floor covering had a large hole in it. The hallway, stairs and reception are like travelling back in time - creaky, very stained old carpets. These areas are not shown in this listing. Misleading. It was very overpriced for the standard. If you do stay, ask for a room away from the noise, as it is above a nightclub, and rooms at the back are above a gigantic beer garden. Staff - absolutely lovely and helpful. Let us store our bags for the day.

Great central location but you get what you pay for. Room is basic but everything worked as it should (I needed the shower on top form when I did and it certainly was!) and the bed was quite comfortable. The place overall is a bit maze like and could be a bit cleaner but for the price (€55 albeit with a voucher), it did the job.

Not as described

Well for the amount I paid 440 Canadian dollars for one night P Bed so lump and thin you can feel springs on you. The wifi non functional as for the TV which wifi based kept freezing. So noises with bar down stairs. I seen crack hotels better than this dump I see why back Packers like this palce as its a place sleep and to top it off I checked what it cost on a weekday its only 129 cnd...

Terrible room small toilet small shower room but located in the heart of the city

Catfished by the pictures, actual room and outdoor looks nothing like whats shown on the site. Staff were helpful in holding bags outwith check-in/out times and sheets were clean, this is the only positives. Hotel is incredibly run down, stairs will make you feel like you've been on the Guinness before you've set foot in a bar they're falling to bits. Walked into the room to find someone there, they'd given us the keys to an occupied room! As solo female travellers this left us feeling completely unsafe for the duration of our trip (2 nights without sleep worried someone would come in to our room, even with pushing the chair up against the door). Room was like a furnace, but couldn't open the window for the noise (the rock club downstairs then the building works at the frontdoor in the morning). Tried speaking to reception and Hotels.Com to explain we felt very unsafe but neither could care. Bathroom smelled heavily of mould, sink had no plug, shower had no drain cover. Mattress was awful, could feel every spring and coil. Would not reccomend this hotel, or Hotels.com to anyone but especially to women.

Location: Good, in the heart of Dublin! People are not lying about the noise, it is LOUD. however, bring ear plugs and you'll be fine, bed comfy. Free tea and coffee in the room. For a one or two night stay and if your a heavy sleeper or just want an ideal place in the city I would recommend this hotel.

Good location for a weekend as it’s very close to all the local attractions. Rooms were decent.

Ok the honest truth. The reviews are right. Loud until the morning. The bar, the tram, etc- however I knew that- I brought eat plugs and it was not an issue. Check in staff 10/10 so nice and friendly. No elevator and you have to be buzzed in each time you come up. Not an issue at all. Room was defiantly old. Beds seemed new and extremely comfortable! Good towels, linens and had a coffee machine in room refilled everyday. So overall? Not bad- in the middle of everything and was cheap. So I recommend it.
