Hôtel was clean and room was decent. But barely a step up from a hostel. Not many food options nearby, no grocery stores or convenience stores. The train is easy to get to but it’s at least 20 minutes from anything worth seeing or doing. Great option if your budget is small and you don’t mind being out of the excitement of Paris. But if you’re looking for that ideal Paris hotel and experience this is not that.

I used my room as a small apartment and had breakfast and a few dinners there. Kitchen was well equipped, except: only one fork, no tea towel to dry dishes, no sink plug. Otherwise, all I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Aircon was quiet and worked perfectly. Shower was very good. Two desks, lots of space. I was able to do a clothes wash in a utility room on the main floor. There was a boulangerie across the street, and a convenience store next door. Staff was always there to help. I couldn’t have asked for more. The only strike against it: location. 10 minute walk from nearest metro station, port de Choisy, and 30-35 minutes to key areas in city centre. Yes, it’s very good value. But a trade-off , in travel time, for doing tourist stuff. I should point out that the T3a tram can bring you to some shopping mall areas.

Nice kitchenette

Tres bien situé. Proche metro, tram, bus. Grande chambre avec kitchenette. Seul hic. Plancher de la chambre n'a pas été nettoyé avec de l'eau . Je pense qu'ils passent juste l'aspirateur après chaque départ. Si le plancher aurait été propre j'aurai donné 10/10 !

Great room for the value staff was excellent did not partake in the breakfast but it looked and smelled great would stay there again

Receptionist was very nice, explained clearly the policies, pretty professional, I’m very happy with all of them Will recommend to friends and hopefully myself will be back soon Thanks for everything and the whole 5 days staying at Break&Home Porte de Choisy👍👏

Trams is literally in front of the hostel. Good enough for a short stay.

I would not recommend, I have suffered from bed bug bites and I have emailed and called and they have done nothing to help to help me or refund me. Would not recommend

On arriving we stood outside trying to get their attention through the glass doors, we were pushing the buttons for the bell, they looked at us and ignored us finally another guest came up with a room key and opened the door for us. The day before I arrived they sent an email and noted I could get breakfast for 9 euros. We were planning on getting it, but when we got there the desk clerk told us 10.50- prepaid. My wife flatly refused. The property requires you to wash the dishes and take out the trash, amazingly they don't require that you do the linens, since they don't seem to do that either. The day I arrived I just pulled back the sheets and went to bed, the next evening I noticed the pillow I'd slept on had a case that looked like it had coffee or something possibly less desirable permanently staining it. When I asked at the desk for a replacement the staff was rude and demanded to know why I didn't bring it to them the first night. The towels all had stains of different degrees and shades on them, I chose not to bring that to their attention since they were holding my credit card deposit hostage. I did get pictures, and also took pictures of everything in the room before we left. Remember that deposit I mentioned. I felt that you can't trust the property. I can't recommend this property if you like clean linens, or courteous staff.
