This hotel is full of charm and character. The room was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Best of all, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Angelina. She is incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly wonderful—we absolutely loved her! Thank you for making our trip so special and unforgettable.

Archangela was an amazing inn keeper. She explained the datails of Catania for us, giving us a map and explaining where to avoid, where to go, what experiences were to be found. She even made us a dinner reservation at a great spot in the middle of fun night life, and recommended a local spot to pick up an Arrancino for lunch! The room was clean, the balcony was historic and excellent, and the interior shutters and air conditioning allowed us the best nights sleep we’ve had in two weeks of European travel. I highly recommend staying here on your trip to Catania, and the location in the historic city center is just a bonus.

Excellent location, walkable to main attractions, restaurants and transport. Shops around. In case you need Internet connection, be aware that the WiFi connection is very low. The receptionist was very helpful with information about the city, amenities and recommending local restaurants. Main train station and bus station easy to reach. Around 15 min walking.

What stay? I shared our check-in time 24 hours before our stay and I was informed I needed to give 72 hours notice. As a result, check-in was closed and we couldn’t stay the night. Luxury hotel? No.

This place was very unhelpful as was hotels.com We had a later flight & they would not allow late check in. They did not provide a refund. We had to pay to stay somewhere else. Do not recommend.
