This is an amazing hotel - with amazing service and amazing staff. A big hotel, very clean and with all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel.

It's a 4star hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel. The beds were small. The switches were confusing: laid over everywhere. The shower is not user friendly and the TV doesn't work.

The twin beds are so inconvenient for the family after paying such high price for the room. We ordered an extra Mattress paying extra money. When the guy came with mattress and opened it , a cockroach popped out. We felt so disgusted, it ruined the whole experience for us. I would never stay with them again as my trust is broken. Apart from a promise to refund my money for extra mattress, the manager did nothing to make me feel that I should come back. Other working Staff is polite and courteous.

Worst Hotel Experience in 30+ Years Disastrous Laundry Service I sent two blouses and a dress for dry cleaning, but they were stuffed into a laundry bag, crumpled, and improperly washed instead. • One blouse shrank, making it unwearable. • The dress had iron marks and smelled bad. • Garments were creased and mishandled. When I raised the issue, staff repeatedly insisted they only dry clean jackets and pants, despite listing dry cleaning for other garments. Instead of informing me, they damaged my clothes. The manager, Babita Butola, offered no resolution, only waiving the laundry fee—no compensation for ruined garments. Worse, when I was unavailable, the hotel contacted my customer to reach me, an appalling breach of professionalism. At check-out, they still tried to charge me for laundry, causing further delays. Final Verdict: Avoid at All Costs he lack of accountability, poor service, and refusal to take responsibility make this hotel an absolute NO for both business and leisure travelers. If you are considering staying here—DON’T.

The hotel is in a good location but restaurant is bad. People stand at the buffet to eat, do not take new plates every time, use their hands to pickup the food, I travel a lot . So far I traveled to 40 plus countries but not seen such un-hygienic buffet anywhere. After seeing that I didn’t eat at the buffet. We ordered some expensive drinks at the bar and were served RAW peanuts at the bar. Not roasted, not salted but RAW. The last day we settled our account and as we were getting in to the car to the airport the receipt came running and started saying we Jane not paid for the late check out. We had paid for the late checkout and all the taxes etc… I pulled my account statement and showed it to her, her response was oh ok. No apology what so ever. It was very embarrassing in front of other guest standing there. I will think twice before booking my stay at this hotel again….

During a recent stay at the Grand Mercure Bengaluru, I found the hotel itself to be quite satisfactory. The accommodations were modern, clean, and comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The housekeeping staff deserve commendation for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness. The service throughout the hotel was commendable. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, readily addressing any requests. Room service was prompt and the food was enjoyable. The lunch buffet at the restaurant was a highlight, offering a satisfying variety of dishes. While the hotel is attached to Gopalan Mall, I found the mall itself to be rather underwhelming. The selection of shops was limited and the overall size was smaller than expected. This wasn't a major issue, but it's worth noting for those who might be expecting a larger shopping experience. However, a significant error on my final invoice detracted from the overall experience. An extra zero had been mistakenly added to the total, resulting in a grossly inflated amount. While the issue was rectified, it caused unnecessary inconvenience and raised concerns about the hotel's billing procedures. Despite this unfortunate incident and the somewhat disappointing mall, I would still recommend the Grand Mercure Bengaluru for the quality of the hotel itself. The comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and the enjoyable lunch buffet make it a desirable choice. However, guests are advised to carefully review their invoices.
