Solo stay

Good location to the bridge, friendly staff, free tea or coffee at breakfast time. Down a side street and a little off putting by the amount of rubbish on the steet. It was fine for a couple of nights.

Rustic tranquility! A great place to chill out, especially on the lawn watching the sun set over the jungle beyond the river. A short 10min walk to shops, 7-11, clothing & jewelry market and then the bridge to watch the spectacle of a slow moving deep throated growling train move between tourists taking snaps. This hotel has charm and atmosphere, we will return again.

Probably the nicest bed I have slept in on this vacation. Only one electrical outlet in the room, shared with the mini fridge and television set, so if you have any electronics to charge, you take turns. Bathroom is nice but the water shuts down at times and you wait a few minutes for it to return. This motel is a hundred metres to the Kwai River and it’s a ten minute walk to the bridge.
