This was a small, simple apartment that has a basic kitchenette, which is essential for any Iceland vacation because of the cost of food there. The parking was a bit confusing, we thought we would have access to parking but we later learned that our unit didn't have an assigned spot after all. Accessing the unit was easy with the provided codes, no issues there. The unit had blackout curtains which really helps when days are long. The location was great. The unit was on the 4th floor, no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. This is out of the hosts' control, but the water in this building seemed to be more smelly than other places I have stayed in the country. The smell did not go away even after letting the cold water run for a while. I would recommend that you buy water before you arrive if you are sensitive to smells. I just have one suggestion for the hosts : please consider installing a shower door.

Good location, old but clean property. 2 things of note: 1. Parking is only available if you stay in one of the larger rooms (i.e., 4 people) 2.we got 2 bath towels and 1 face towel for both of us for 5 days. That's aggressive Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

No support, misleading booking information, location is VERY noisy, would never recommend

Kitchen equipment were not well maintained. Obvious scratches on non stick pans that look unsafe. No luggage storage when arriving early.

Reykjavik itself is unique, that is what i liked most. Shops, clean room, very walkable

There was no warning that the property was completely off to be accessed by car - all of access streets were closed due to some street festival. We drove in circles until we finally found a parking building. In addition, the room didn’t have enough towels for 2 people.

Location of the building is outstanding. A few minutes to walk to a grocery store, across the street from Starbucks and easily walkable to multiple cafes and restaurants. Right on one of the main downtown streets, so plenty to see and do. Bus service available a short walk away. Decent-sized room for family of 4. Room ran very hot though, especially with the bed that is walled in on both sides when you have to have the curtains closed, so if it’s summer and you sleep hot this might not be the room for you. Slippery shower along wall Parking is only available for some units (4-person had it). Parking lot is very tight, especially when staff is on site and takes spot that runs right next to building (other spots are perpendicular to this). Driveway is really hard to pull out of because you are blindly pulling out on to a busy sidewalk on a single-lane roadway where cars are also parking all along. So, one of has to jump out to direct the driver out safely and jump back in, which was annoying. We had to request extra pillows (bed only came with 1 for each person and they were kind of thin) and had to request clean towels (were supposed to be dropped off every few days, but weren’t). Service was fast and friendly. Some suggestions we would make for the property guide—include instructions for the door lock for our room. It does not match what is in the guide and works differently. I would also directions for both the oven and dishwasher because we had to look those up.

Easy access and convenient. Felt like home experience.

Awesome apartment. Can't bet the location. It's within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and rainbow rd. If you rent the larger apt, it comes with onsite parking which was super convenient. Only negative i can list is that there's no microwave. Highly recommended.

Spent one night before flying out. Easy walking access to main shopping, dining, tourist attractions. There is no elevator so bringing luggage up was a challenge. Lovely views from double balcony in room 402
