Global Luxury provides units that don’t lock securely from the inside, leaving guests non-secure while sleeping, vulnerable to anyone who has a copy of the key to enter during the night. No dead bolt. I realized immediately upon check in and returned the keys to the building lobby attendant, and I called Global asking for a refund because I need to stay elsewhere for a secure stay. Global Luxury’s final response is that they “advertised the room type correctly online” and won’t return my money. I say False Advertising … because no where did they advertise that they don’t have a standard dead bolt apparatus for guests to sleep securely inside. I’ve travelled my whole life for work and pleasure, and NEVER had an accommodation that doesn’t lock securely inside. Who even sells accommodations that don’t lock securely from the inside?! We then booked an extremely nice Hilton Garden Inn for HALF price the same night a block away. It had multiple internal locks. Safe. Global Luxury needs to return my money.

Below averageStayed with kids
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this apartment was disappointing on a number of levels. The lobby smells very musty, the master bed was rickety, and terrible to sleep on (not luxury at all) - it creaked a lot and had terrible ‘roll together’. Seemed very old. The twin beds were better according to the kids. We booked two nights but there was only one dishwasher powder sachet, meaning we’d either have to buy a whole packet for one night or wash dishes by hand - which isn’t a major, but there was no tea towel. We asked about replenishing supplies and were told only one day was provided. We’re on a 4 week holiday to the States and every other place we’ve stayed makes basic supplies like this available. On a positive note- we enjoyed the gym and proximity to tourist sights. We wouldn’t stay here again though.

GoodStayed with kids
This property has so much potential. The location is terrific. The unit could be great but it seems like the owner is managing it to near bare bones. For example; it is a two bed to bath unit with a kitchen but it has a tiny hotel style, terrible coffee machine. And the plates are put in at an angle in the cabinet because they don’t really fit. The light doesn’t work in one of the bathrooms and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. There is a pull out sofa but no spare blanket or duvet. The bathrooms have absolutely no shelf space or any kind of vanity.
With a little investment and love the place could be five stars.

Great location, good size apt, but zero guest support. Was missing duvets for the pull out bed, that were never provided after multiple calls/requests. 2 large cribs (not requested) took up a lot of space.

Fully equipped kitchen basics. Unlike AirB&B's, no oil, spices or foil, but with some planning you have all you need to prepare meals vs. eating out. The air conditioning didn't work, but mild temps made it tolerable. There are no screens on the windows and mosquitoes in spring are a thing. Its not trendy, more like a friends apartment. The bed is very soft and no support in the middle.

Fantastic Great location, close to the National Mall. Comfortable accommodations. Couple of minor maintenance concerns with broken lamp and toilet flush kit but nothing we couldn’t manage. Enjoyed the roof top terrace too! Great stay!
