Migliore Hotel Seoul Myeongdong

The first thing that hits you is how warm the place is. Checkin was confusing as there was signage to go to the 3rd floor, and another said the 10th floor (or something like that). There is also another hotel connected to this one. The front desk is infact on the 3rd floor. We finally got our room and upon entering, felt really hot. It was also hot in the elevator and lobby areas. Inside the room are controls to control the HVAC, but it does nothing to improve the situation. Our 1st room has a mold issue around the bathroom sink. I went to the front desk to notify them of the hazardous situation with the mold and to inquire about the hot room. They apologized and booked another room for me. As for the warm rooms, they said it is centrally controlled and all they can do is have it all on or off for everyone. There is NO individual climate controls, so you are at their mercy! Do not overlook this as if you go in the summer like we did (July), it is extremely hot and humid. This completely makes the vacation stay unpleasant and we were already looking forward to leaving before we could even enjoy our time there. To their credit, they did give us a fan, which was a life saver. We still had to endure very warm rooms, making it uncomfortable to stay. There are also warnings plastered all over the room...things like, If you move this bed, there is a hefty fine. The rooms were VERY old and dated. The only positive about this hotel is the location in Myeongdong.

It was great choice for trip to seoul. Before check in and after check out, I could use free luggage storage which offers to only guests. Otherwise you have to pay to use it. Location was so good to travel around. The street became busier at dusk. Easy to shop and send a parcel to oversea on our last day of trip. If you have luggage exit 7, not 6 as google would suggest. The room was very small but expected. Room was only for sleep so no problem for us. I would stay again..

The rooms were okay. Not overly comfortable and a bit dated. Air Conditioning was not great and often was warmer in the room than it should have been.

Hotel lobby is plain & not presentable at all with no couch to rest with rows of lockers which make the lobby looks unsightly. Check in was fast & friendly & rooms were clean with daily housekeeping.The location is great & airport limousine bus is a few steps away right in front of Myeongdong Gyoza restaurant. Would come back if price is right.

Location was really good. Most of the staff could NOT communicate well in English. We booked with Breakfast and when we had to leave early to join a tour, they were unable to provide us with even a small pack & go (even a few fruits or just a sandwich) breakfast which was very dissapointing. They had a kettle and tea/coffee satches, but didn't have a tea spoon or something to stir our tea/coffee.

Deluxe twin room was clean and spacious and we were lucky to get view of Namsan Tower. No Breakfast on Sunday morning was absolutely atrocious so would not recommend it.

Convenient but hotel need undate furniture and bathroom.

It be is close to market and food. Easy access.
