Fantastic
The staff was super nice. Our room had obviously not been cleaned well but it wasn’t horrible. The power was out for like 2/3 days which isn’t their fault really but was awful to go through. House keeping just didn’t come some days. Pool was nice and there are some chairs by the pool. Breakfast was super basic- bagels, muffins, cereal, granola bars but we enjoyed it. Seems like a small family owned business which I would rather support than the big corporations but not having any back up for the power made me rethink that. There is a super cute cat, caption jacks, he was friendly and hung out on the deck while we ate breakfast and was walking around a ton which was nice as cat lovers.

Solo stay

I had a very mixed experience here. Based on my actual experience, I'd give it 2 stars, but some of the problem was my fault, as I'd booked a tiny room without an ensuite bathroom or a view - or real windows (there's no glass, just metal louvers, so if they're open there's actually a nice view of the pool, but when you close them to use the A/C the room is pitch black.) If I'd checked the description more carefully that wouldn't have been a surprise. My bad. The steps in the heat are also a killer, but I did chose to drag my luggage from the ferry terminal, so I probably wouldn't have been AS dripping wet had I taken a taxi. Again, my bad. However, when I went to my room the TV was on and the bed was unmade. I mentioned this to the sweet woman who was busy with an infant an on the phone with a friend, and she asked if I'd bring her the sheets. Sure. No big deal. She gave me a flat sheet and one pillow case. I had to ask twice for the fitted sheet and 2nd pillow case, and made the bed myself. The room was also clearly once an outdoor veranda that had been enclosed, as was the bathroom next door, which did have a real window, but no A/C. The property, though, is actually pretty nice. The next morning, after the OK continental breakfast with a fellow traveler I ran into, who sat next to on the plane to the BVI 2 weeks earlier, and ran into again at the marina where we were both chartering sailboats, he showed me their room. It was very nice and big, with an ensuite, balcony, etc

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. She was unprofessional with 2 small children at the front desk. Upon checking in the room was also small and uncomfortable with dirty furniture. It was only a 1 night stay so we just decided to stay..The grab and go breakfast was trash. Upon waking up and checking out at 8:00am we saw that our car was towed!! We spoke to the manager who said that they would usually call the hotel before and our car was towed 5minutes before we came outside! The owner then came out yelling and screaming that she wasn’t responsible. And using curse words at us. We asked for a partial refund to help cover the costs and they said no, all they gave us was an apology. We had to pay $250 towing fee plus that ridiculous room for the hotel. We spent close to $500 for one of the worst nights/morning of our life! If u want a calm, relaxing experience with nice accommodations this is not the place. Beware!!

I didn't like the room. There was mold in the ceiling. The fridge was empty. They could have at least have water in the fridge.

Amazing views in every direction and centrally located. The shared bathroom was clean and large. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious too. I would visit again!
