Great

Solo stay · For business

I had one of the internal rooms (no windows) which got warm pretty quickly, even in October. When I asked reception if the AC could be turned on, they gave me the remote to work it, no questions. Room was compact but comfortable and pretty clean. Shower was good (plenty of pressure). Simple facilities, but perfectly acceptable at this price. Good local amenities nearby (underground, shops, pubs, takeaways, etc)

Good

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We cannot say enough good about how wonderful they were. Coming from the U.S., we may have made some assumptions and had unrealistic expectations of a hotel in London. The room was smaller than we are used to. We expected a room with 2 twin beds and a full size bed to have space between each bed; the twin beds were pushed together with only a small space between the full bed and twin. Although there was a cubbie/shelf area with a hanger bar, there was no closet or dresser to unpack into. We assumed that there would be wash cloths in addition to the towels provided. The towels were only changed once in our 6 night stay. Although we did not bring this to the attention of the staff, our daughter slept on top of the covers and used an airplane sleep pillow as the sheets on her bed had a stain on them or were dirty. The website indicated that the hotel has a/c. Upon check-in we were told that there is normally a daily fee for a/c; however, this fee was waived because they were having a heatwave during our stay. The hotel was conveniently located about a 10 minute to the tube station which was necessary as the location was far from London tourist areas.

It was the worst hotel and customer service Iv ever experienced. I also left (by accident) microphones , power bank and hard drive at the hotel. And they’ve said it’s not there. So they’ve blatantly sold it.

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. The hot and cold taps on the shower were swapped around. The mattress and pillows were too hard for my liking.

Tiny room, only a couple of inches longer than my arm reach. Barely any room to move. No desk or table to work on. Hair & dirt in the shower basin. Hair & some marks in the bed. Bedding clearly not fresh - smelled and felt like it had been slept in several times. Noisy throughout the night - very thin walls.

Give this hotel a miss. Horrible dirty and you can hear people talking and shouting very loudly in rooms next door. Felt very unsafe as a lone female.

Our room for 3 adults was tiny and most of the furnishings were old and tatty, the headboard was completely ripped, 3 tea bags, 3 milk pods and no cups. Air con was £5 if you wanted it, night receptionist gave it us for free which was appreciated. The room served its purpose as we were literally only sleeping in it but I wouldn’t return
