FantasticStayed with kids
I loved the room and it was super high quality. The beds were neat and there wasn’t any stains. It had a good view when we were in the elevator. There were so much things to do such as snorkelling and fuse ball, even ping pong! I had such a great time and I do recommend everyone to go. Overall, I rate it a five out of five.😁

FantasticSolo stay
For the location this hotel is excellent but looks kind of old fashion. Love the birds, the views, food needs improvement and staff friendliness.

FantasticStayed with kids
From booking, to checking-in to checking out everything was seamless thanks to the attentive staff. For $12 more I booked us into a Coral Sea View room (2 double beds) and it was the right call. The view over Catseye Beach was beautiful. And the bathroom was THE biggest (with a thoughtful layout) I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The pool was so relaxed (only for hotel guests) and the departure lounge was so useful with lockers for luggage and showers for last minute swimming before our late afternoon on flight home. Would definitely stay again!

Resort is in prime location with easy access to everything
Free shuttle bus picks up at resort front door every 15 minutes, but you can easily walk to Marina, or hire a buggy for a day or so
Fantastic Views from room overlooking the beach and we had a high floor, 16th
Huge room, bathroom a little dated, but amenities outweigh this we thought
Do be careful of the friendly cockatoos as they love a snack, keep you doors closed when not in room
Buffet breakfast was huge with so much choice
Pools was nice, but you can use any of the multiple resort pools
Super friendly staff and always helpful
Overall, enjoying our stay immensely

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful, efficient and very personable. Breakfast was well organised with a wide range of choice of foods. A suggestion is that a chalkboard listing starting times for paddle boardingKayaking and sail craft activities be displayed each morning because it changes each day.

Below averageStayed with partner
We were very disappointed with our stay. Even though we informed the hotel in advance that it was my wife’s birthday, there was no acknowledgment at all. We didn’t expect anything extravagant, but even a simple birthday card or a handwritten “Happy Birthday” note would have been a thoughtful gesture. There was no cake, no bottle of champagne, and no effort to make the occasion feel special.
Overall, the service and attention to detail were very poor, and the experience was far below our expectations. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had.

The breakfast was one of the most amazing things that my family and I experienced because if anything ever ran out, the staff would immediately replace it.

Fantastic We found the resort crammed with family and if the rest of them weren’t honeymooners, well, you could have fooled me. I’m not necessarily a resort sort but our stay was stunning. Curlews and wallabies everywhere. Thoroughly recommend you go to the Reef View Hotel. A paradise for all kids including children of a larger growth like me.

Good breakfast buffet. 10min walk from supermarket and marine shops. Lifts are small, unfortunately, 2 were broken, causing delays.
