The Citizen M is some type of "concept hotel" -- a concept that I did not appreciate. The room size is minimized -- the bed is pushed up against a wall and if shared by two people, one person has to crawl over the other to get out of the bed. I also did not like the all he electronic controls in the room. For example, the need to use an I-pad to turn the lights on and off. Furthermore, there is little is very little space in the room to store your suitcase, and the closet is too small to hang up most of your clothes. They only clean the room once every 3 days. In short the room is a mess. I guess it it is fine for one person, but the facilities are cramped for two people. Finally, I did not like the idea of having to travel down 9 floor to get water and ice (my room was on the 9th floor). Finally, I did not find the breakfast offered worth paying for. It's an economical hotel for Paris but not a great value. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Disappointing. Have stayed before so have to highlight this was not our typical experience. Room appeared to have not been cleaned, toilet flush stuck continually running with water on the floor. The blind was broken and could not be opened. Tv remote also not working but could be used with the tablet in the room.

Stayed only 1 night before flying back home but we found the hotel to be a very cool experience, kind of like a cruise ship cabin but very high tech with all lighting and entertainment controlled via the supplied iPad. Very comfortable bed and a perfect sleep before our long flight home.
