Good
Banging fire doors, banging room doors, crazy loud exhaust pipes in the car park all add up to a bad nights sleep and that’s the objective, so not good. Food is pretty poor too, very strong almost raw garlic in some. Stayed a few times now it’s a shame really, other than that quite a good hotel

Below average
The bedroom was really old, tired and dirty. It didn’t look as advertised, and I was disappointed. It was very dusty, particularly on lamps and surfaces. The wardrobe also didn’t open properly. The sheets on the bed were ripped at the side seams, and had stains on them. I phone several times in advance of booking to enquire about breakfast in the room, and everyone I spoke to was so unhelpful. I was trying to arrange room service because my friend was getting married and we needed to eat on time, without her running in to the groom. I didn’t have the information I needed before arrival, and hadn’t been able to pre book. When I was at the hotel, I took the order to reception to explain we needed it for a certain time and that we had a wedding to go to but the breakfast was still 40 mins late from the time it was ordered for. This was just a stress that my friend didn’t need on her wedding day and was disappointing. The fruit that came with the breakfast was soft (when it shouldn’t have been) and tasted old, like it had been left out of the fridge overnight. I couldn’t stay for the second night of my stay, as amongst other things, I didn’t want to sleep in such a filthy room again. I explained to the man at reception when I left who didn’t seem to care and didn’t have any suggestions to solve the issues. A very poor experience overall.

Great
Entry signage could be improved from road approach to avoid overshooting. Large pool but jacuzzi had off putting foam. Spa outside area needs improving. Room and bathroom ok with nice view over terrace and green. Some.noise on a hot summer evening but assume music stopped at midnight. I was asleep! No-one on reception for 10 minutes Saturday morning despite reporting fact to restaurant staff. Would I return? Yes. Food looked reasonably priced but not experienced.

Ok stay but the pictures oversold. The room wasn’t clean and we had one desk fan between four of us in the heat. Also the pool area wasn’t very clean, and the food at dinner was over cooked. The staff, however, were super friendly.

Stayed with kids

Hotel was fine. It wasn’t amazing nor was it poor. It was fine. We had a family room and it was plenty big enough. Rooms could do with air conditioning as they were so warm and also some security on the windows. With two small children and being on the ground floor the windows could be pulled open from outside and climbed through sonw had to keep them closed and roast all night. Pool was nice, breakfast was decent. Parking spaces are tiny so if you have anything bigger than a mini, prepare to have your doors dinged. Also if you are a blue badge holder don’t expect a space. I seen loads of golfers just parking in the disabled bays with no blue badges. And non EVs in the electric bays which stopped any EV from charging. I told one of the members of staff but they said there’s not much they can do. Shame it’s not controlled better.
