Our room was in the basement but that could’ve been OK if the air conditioning would have worked. It says that you can turn it down to 18°C, but it never got any cooler than 75°F. We called on the issue three times and they were able to at least give us a fan. Location is excellent and the facility is clean.

Great location to get around London

We stayed in a basement level unit and we really enjoyed how cool and quiet it was during our very warm time in London. Great location! easy to get to all the theaters, Leicester Square, Chinatown and all the sights of central London.

The photo attached to the Wilde double room on Expedia did not reflect the room we received . We had to clamber from the bottom of the bed into the bed as there was no room either side. Bathroom door wouldn’t close , there was no room to move and floors were not particularly clean . Chris was helpful and did his best under the circumstances - otherwise we would have wished to move hotel altogether . Disappointing stay for a high enough price .

Overall, we had a very enjoyable 5-night stay at Wilde Aparthotels Covent Garden. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Covent Garden, theatres, restaurants and transport. The hotel was spotless, and the reception staff were welcoming, attentive and efficient. The kitchenette was well equipped with a stovetop, dishwasher, good-sized fridge, coffee machine, utensils and quality toiletries. The heated towel rail was a nice touch. The main downside is the size. The room and shower are extremely compact. While the space is cleverly designed with only 1 under-bed storage, there is very little room for luggage, hanging clothes or moving around, especially for two people. Taller or larger guests will find it uncomfortable. A few improvements would make a big difference. Our cooker hood wasn’t working, so cooking smells lingered in the room. The fridge only had a small ice tray, so an ice machine/access to extra ice would be essential. The air conditioning temperature should also be allowed to be adjusted lower. Housekeeping is limited. Full servicing is ONLY provided for longer stays; 7 days and more otherwise it's chargeable. This policy should be made clearer when booking. Change of towels & rubbish cleaning was only offered for our stay of 5 nights. The lift was quite slow, though we were fortunate to stay on a lower floor. Despite the very compact rooms, the excellent location, cleanliness and friendly staff made this a great stay, and we would happily return.

Love the vibe of the hotel....hated the way the twin beds where set up , best to separate the beds into two . Especially when you're a foreigner Have simple cleaner instructions on how to trun on and off lights/ and definitely a ceiling FAN ..

Love the location with walking distance to almost everything. It’s tucked in a quiet side street so we had a peaceful nights sleep. Love the design & how all the essentials & more are in this smart space. The mattress & pillows are so comfortable. Excellent place to stay in London.

Small but mighty! Great value for the money. Clean, helpful staff, and just what we needed for a couple of days before a cruise out of Dover. Would stay here again.
