Casino gaming sucked. No $5 blackjack tables. Slots were very tight. Didn't see any winners at all.

Resort fee is outrageous. Should be disclosed before I book or included in the price beforehand. Would have never stayed there with such a scammy practice. Will never stay there again.

Fantastic
Loved my stay here! It was my first time visiting and I arrived around 10 p.m. It was overwhelming navigating the property (due to construction) and parking but everyone was very nice and helpful!

Great
Pool staff was not very helpful when you first walk in, other then that the staff was great specially at the front desk.

Great
We just needed a place to stay for the night and safe place to leave a car for a few days while we flew to Texas. This hotel has an airport shuttle that worked for us.

Great
The property is clean and well maintained inside. The parking lot is a two story stair climb with suitcases to the front door. The new card locks on the elevators are a pain and the refrigerator was so loud it was rattling the cabinet it was in and I had to unplug it to get some sleep.

Good
Unfortunately, my experience at the Grand Sierra Resort was disappointing due to several customer service issues. The front desk staff was very rude. Upon checking in, I introduced myself and said that I was there to check in. Instead of offering a greeting or welcome, the employee abruptly responded, “I can’t do anything without your driver’s license and a credit card.” There was no hello or acknowledgment, which immediately made the interaction feel unfriendly and unprofessional. I had another unpleasant interaction at the pool. As the pool was closing, I was gathering my children’s belongings and preparing to leave when a security employee approached me and said, “What’s going on? I need you to leave. The pool is closed.” I completely understood that the pool was closing, but the manner in which I was spoken to was unnecessarily rude. The service in the casino was also disappointing. I gambled for more than two hours and was never once offered a drink. I eventually approached a server myself, only to be told that I was not in her section. Lastly, my room was never cleaned despite being empty for most of the day. I eventually had to call housekeeping, and rather than servicing the room, they simply brought me some fresh towels. Overall, I was very disappointed by the level of customer service throughout my stay. For a resort of this caliber, I expected a much more welcoming and professional experience
