A pleasant small hotel near to the Metro, Supermarket, Boulangerie and several restaurants. We were upgraded and had a large 4th floor room facing onto the road, well decorated and lit but short of storage space. Breakfast was good, with nice coffee and DIY orange juice. A day by day change of cheese variety, and some ham, would be an improvement.

Clean, beautiful right near the train station. Elevator and bathrooms were tiny and there were no closet; there was a rack with hangers for clothes. The staff is extremely helpful, someone was at the desk 24/7 and all the staff members were very kind.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. This trip we stayed at quite a few different hotels as we traveled through France, and I still think Hotel de la Porte Doree takes hotel service to a new level! Cleanliness, amazing staff, great beds and bathrooms and amazing amenities! Free coffee fruit, nuts at the reception. I honestly think the staff are one of the best. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to being back someday when we are in Paris!❤️❤️
