Our stay was comfortable after long tours. The staff are all amazing. Shiori was extremely helpful, above and beyond. My husband forgot his hiking boots when we checked out. We contacted the hotel, and they responded immediately. They had the shoes mailed to our hotel in Tokyo, and even sent a message and stamped booklet with the shoes.

I needed an extra quilt. However, the front desk demanded I pay 5,000 yen for it. (Not a deposit). It is both surprising and disappointing to be subject to such a demand in Japan, a country that prides itself on hospitality called "omotenashi", which means wholeheartedly looking after guests. I will definitely revisit Kyushu but I will not stay at this hotel again.

The room has plenty of space and we had a small couch and a small desk by the window. It has everything you can think of: kettle, skincare set, toothpaste and toothbrush kit, hairbrush, refreshening spray for clothes. Shower was lovely and spacious. Close to metro stations and shops. The staff was lovely and very helpful in managing to send our luggages to the following hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was convenient and easy to get around from, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, with good variety and quality. The property felt safe, quiet, and welcoming. They also offered baggage storage after our stay for a minimal fee, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again.

Breakfast not offered in hotel but in restaurant 2 floors below the Lobby. Quality of food on offer 3 stars or below. We paid over $330 per night for a small room, old furniture, old carpets and mattresses on beds almost as hard as lying on bricks. This hotel in NO WAY deserves a 9.4 rating. We were very disappointed with the quality of this hotel. The only exceptional feature of this hotel was the staff. My advice is AVOID this hotel.
