After two attempts, our twin opera view room at the very end of the hall had no hot water in the shower. Other than that, great free buffet breakfast, with free coffee and juice.

It’s a famous hotel, check in early and ask for early check in, they will charge a little, but also upgrade you room to a suite, if you don’t already have. Buy the book the quiet American from a local book store, and read it in the lobby with a mojito.

Had a few plumbing problems staying on the 3rd floor but it is a very old building. Took water 10 minutes to warm up in the morning, and toilet didnt always flush easily. But the rooms are large and charming - it's like staying in a museum. Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful and the location is pretty much perfect.
